The game is extremely bland in many departments, there is barely content at all and when they do it comes as a DLC.
Also the hitboxes are terrible, zombies barely do animations of attacking you yet get hit multiple times, one strong example of this is when a horde gets massive and passes through you instead of the zombies stopping to try and hit you then run you over and you get killed instantly.
Special zombies also have really unfair hitboxes, the lurker being able to jump you through walls or get you anyway when they jump in the wrong place: other one would be the bull, the bull instead of charging in a straight line it follows you movement doing even full 180º that will get you even if you get behind the corners of any buildings.
Also the companions AI is braindead and does less than the bare minimum

I was hoping for a fun horde game in the same vein of Left 4 Dead, but instead I got "Escort Quest - The Game".

Being able to level up to unlock perks, more damage for weapons, character skins, and the large cast of playable characters is cool.

Unfortunately, the allied AI in this game is downright terrible, so I'd argue that playing solo with bots is pretty unviable even on the easiest difficulty.

The final straw for me was at Story 2 Part 3 when I experienced a bug that then lead into another bug which pulled my into an inescapable area (there is a bug where your character will sometimes get knocked down by nothing. The second part of this bug dragged my character through a gated area that had no way out).

When I thought about how I didn't want to go through the area defense objective and escort quest at the start, I realized that has been the whole game; defending areas and escorting NPCs until the hordes stop coming.

If it had just been get from one end of the map to the other and survive with 3 other players (bots) then this would have been something. Alas, in my opinion, Left 4 Dead 2 remains the undisputed king.

bizarre. it feels like you're playing airsoft when shooting the ineffectual guns world war z aftermath, and i mean this as horribly as i can stress: these guns feel like nothing. no impact. no feeling. the sound is off--most guns dump their loads like they're afraid of someone walking in. the handling is off--there's virtually no kickback. the animation is off--there's virtually no motion. you pick up a shotgun and it shoots like a pistol. you pick up an assault rifle and it shoots like a shotgun. you pick up a heavy shotgun and it shoots like a shotgun shoots like an assault rifle shoots like a pistol shoots like every fucking worthlessly designed weapon placed into the hands of one of fourteen or twenty or however many of these strange soulless player designs. except the worn out asian mom with the sweater. she's cool looking. the rest look like they came out of a chuck e cheese arcade booth. you'd have a lot more fun with those arcade booths than you would with world war z, too--promise. in fact, i bought this game on sale for $19.99. do you know how many tickets that would get you at the house of mouse? all i'm saying is i know what i'm doing with MY steam refund.

Заинтересовался этой игрой после анонса режиа от первого лица, но был разочарован. Зомби по несколько штук в комнате, можно спокойно пробегать от точки до точки, никого не убивая. Стрельба какая-то деревянная, не чувствуется. Единственная фишка игры - орды зомби, не работает, так как ты их не боишься, потому что бежит 3 толпы, подбегает к стене и, зависает, как будто не может залезть) Специальные заражённые напргыивают из ниоткуда. К игре от 1-ого лица игра абсолютно не приспособлена, модельки оружия не очень проработаны и с этого ракурса выглядят убого, прыгать нельзя, ты как будто передвижная картонка с оружием на рельсах, драться холодным оружием от первого лица нельзя, перелезать от первого лица нельзя. Игра похоже на какую-то дешёвую мобильную версию Лефт 4 деад. Наверное, можно немного поиграть на локации "Рим", если вы фанат Сериус Сэма 4 или на локации "Камчатка", если вы русский, второй уровень там сделан достаточно атмосферно.

esse é o game perfeito pra quem ta com a cabeça cheia e quer dar uma relaxada num jogo que nao exige nada de inteligencia, o perfeito Chill Game!
sério, ha tempos eu nao me divertia tanto assim com um jogo de zumbi...as fases tem o mesmo modelinho de missao, andar um pouco, proteger uma base/pessoa e seguir, mas todas foram muito bem feitas e os zumbis sao muuuuuuito gostosos de matar kkkkkkk sério mano, vc poder relaxar no sofá, acender um e matar hordas e hordas de zumbi é SENSACIONAL!

pra mim o jogo é perfeito assim mesmo, se vc quer algo mais robusto, mais serio com historia e etc, esse jogo nao é pra vc

obs.: so compre a dlc se for pelo eneba (paguei 24 reais já com taxa), mais que isso nao vale

Pretty standard horde shooter but with the World War Z license.

My biggest problem with the game is how the guns feel like there is just no distinction between them they all sound the same and they all feel the same like an Advanced SMG would have the same feeling as like a regular SMG and then the Compact SMG which does the exact same thing much like the rifles.

Let's hope that (if you're playing on PC), the game runs well because it does like to lag sometimes from the amount of zombies the game can render. Seriously, I don't know how they manage to get a bajillion zombies to render all at once but damn they look horrific in a horde but at the same time they look pretty goofy from afar as they just look like low quality PNGs that can move.
