Boss merda (GameBoy color version)

DAT SOUNDTRACK ON THE GBA THOUGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I remember having a blast with this, especially when I found all the cheat codes.

The GBA version is a surprisingly competent 2D platformer with stealth mechanics and satisfying combat.

X2: Wolverine's Revenge tries to capitalize on the success of the X2 film, but falls short with an intriguing, disease-driven plot hampered by repetitive combat and frustrating level design. Wolverine's feral abilities make for some satisfying moments, and the stealth elements offer glimpses of potential. However, the game feels unpolished, plagued by awkward camera angles and inconsistent difficulty spikes that make the experience more tedious than thrilling. Fans of the clawed mutant might find some enjoyment, but the overall package is a mixed bag.

Прохождение игры be like:
Начало игры: ну вроде норм хз че все так хейтят эту игру
Все остальное прохождение:
ПРОСТО ДАЙТЕ МНЕ УЖЕ ПУЛЬТ ОТ ЯДЕРКИ БЛЯТЬ

Loved it, don't give a shit. Instant classic and Mark Hamill does a great Wolvie voice. Kinda scary ngl
I've redownloaded it in the year 2023, and it still bangs.

Best chapter? Wendigo. Loved when Magneto rocked up despite how ludicrous the fight was and the Lady Deathstrike finally was very satisfying to finish.

In my long-running journey to play every game in the same universe as Rino Romano's Spider-Man, I've finally conquered this beast.

I have been meaning to play this one for over a year, and the reason being that Rino Romano's Spider-Man appears in a deleted scene! Meaning, yes, this is canon to the four or five Spider-Man games that he first appeared in!

The way this one connects to the timeline is it is the second movie tie-in game to the Fox X-Men movies, the first was X-Men Mutant Academy, which branches off into the Mutant Academy game series (which I played.) In that timeline branch Spidey dies, but in this one he appears alive and well.

As for the actual game, my random timeline headcanons aside, it was alright lol. It wasn't super duper fun, I think the controls were kind of annoying and running through samey underground science lab after science lab didn't really hook me. What I really liked were some of the boss fights, with the exception of Magneto, that old fart, that fight was fucking infuriating.

I would never have played this game if not for the connections it has to my childhood Spider-Man game, and for that I give it some points because I think it's cool. It wasn't really a super joy to play, though, so here we are.

At the end of the day I did it in 3 or 4 hours so it wasn't a waste of my time, but I'm glad to have finally beaten it.

its extremely hard. I had to use the cheat codes to even pass the first act. but after using the cheat codes. it got fun and, its a decent game. 6/10.

What is this game? Mark Hamill, what were you thinking?
