This game is kinda fun but i play binding of isaac alot more Maybe ill come back to trhis

My gold-standard for rogues, between just the gamefeel in general and the huge variety of weapons, items, interactions between them and an absurd amount of secret unlockable I can and probably will play this forever. I have put in a truly embarrassing amount of time on this game between PC / Switch and it's one of my all time favorites as a result.

I'm marking it as Mastered, because while there's still things I believe that I haven't unlocked I did manage to unlock the Gunslinger so I'm rounding up.

Extremely fun roguelike. Would get an extra half star if played on PC or any console that doesn't drop frames when the screen is full of noise.

would like this game a lot more if losing a run didn't represent so much lost time and effort. and also if things didn't take so long to do. ive been ruined for this genre by nuke throne.

A staple of the roguelike genre. Plenty of guns, items, enemies, and bosses, each significantly different from the other making each run different from the last. The community of EtG has also blessed the game with a plethora of mods, which will keep the game alive and well, even after the devs move on.

Everything is a gun and that's funny.

A good, difficult roguelike. I like bullet hells, and this was my first experience with a roguelike. But after a while I got bored. Even with how different every run is, different weapons, different bosses, different characters, I just got bored of it after a while.

I absolutely can't stop playing this game, I'm a big fan of both roguelikes and bullet hells and this honestly blends them perfectly. I've unlocked just about everything in the game and I still keep coming back to it to do random challenge runs. It's sheer amount of guns and randomness alongside the seemingly endless amount of secrets makes every single run feel new and interesting. Gungeon captures my love for games maybe more than any other one. It doesn't have an in depth story or interesting characters or anything, but it's just pure fun for me and I can't stop coming back.

Fun gameplay, obviously the story wouldn't be the strongest thing but still extremely fun to play around with. Solid game

Has a lot of guns and its fun, unlike borderlands LOL.

Fun concept, good gameplay and nice visuals.

But play the same few hours of content over-and-over again and see how quickly the magic wears off.

Clearly I am bad at twin stick shooters, but Enter the Gungeon has an inescapably entertaining theme. The gameplay is solid, the bullet hell controls are tight and the combat is exciting - but Gungeon lives in its incredible theming. The guns are guns, the enemies are bullets, the guns fire bullets, those bullets are sometimes guns. It's wacky and over the top in an utterly brilliant way, this game for me has killed the Binding of Isaac.

I haven't completed Gungeon and likely never will, but I've enjoyed it every time I've played

I’m not a big fan of Roguelikes. I like the premise of a new experience every time, but with most games in the genre you get about halfway through the main goal and suddenly you’ve seen all the content.

I don’t even need to tell you how hard this game breaks that standard. Every single time I play I come away with something new. There’s so many items, guns, enemies, characters, combinations and possibilities in this game, I can’t play another Roguelike after.

The combat is hands down the best part of the experience, you’re fighting bullets using guns that shoot guns that shoot bullets, you’re constantly dodging a hellfire of death spew, you’re rolling over pits and attacks, you’re blasting the screen with projectile-clearing blanks...

...you’re sliding off tables to suddenly flip em over for cover, so much is happening on-screen and still it never dwells on it. Then you’ve got your weapons, which all serve a different purpose and reference so many areas of our culture, such as other games, films, common idioms, etc. You’ve got like a billion passive items changing how the game is played, which can turn you into an armed to the teeth mass-murderer or an armor junkie rolling everywhere trying to get off some special effect before you get glass cannon’d. Some of the items and guns even combine to make each other more efficient.

My only complaint is that some of the guns are definitely better than others. You have weapons like the crown that makes you a fucking touhou character, then there’s the little Mega Man blaster that doesn’t do anything. I don’t like feeling that my game progression is luck-based when I don’t get the better items.

Enter the Gungeon is a hyper-adrenaline bullet hell that stores an abundance of guns, challenges and combat heavy fun. It’s the new golden example of what a Roguelike should be, and it’s worth every cent and more.

i play this while i watch zero punctuation on repeat

Roguelikes rule. This game commits to its aesthetic and delivers with a well designed but challenging game providing lots of options.

Everyone's gangsta till I pull out the fish gun then you bitches wanna act like my best friend.

I suck at this but it's still very fun

Bullet hell gateway drug. Loses points for the Ammoconda.

The gun puns are immaculate. Ammoconda suck ass
