Actually very fun game if played with nice friends.
The feeling of liminal spaces is really well done here.

The last level sucks enourmous ass tho. As a standalone level it's mid but as a final level? gigantic L. (i know it's not the "final" level but still, it's the final level of said version)

I recommend to everyone who's into the backrooms subject. Even with friends, it was a little scary. Would not recommend playing it all by yourself, although it is possible to "finish" the game alone.

I'm willing to put up with quite a bit jank in an indie 4 player coop games since it allows me to hang out with friends but this one just kinda fizzled out after about an hour and a half :( It starts off pretty solid - levels are short, there are some spooky monsters and objectives are fairly clear. We were having a solid time! However, as the game goes on, levels get longer and dull unobvious puzzles become frequent. It also kinda sucks if someone dies early on in a long level because it means they're stuck spectating for 10-20 minutes unless the host restarts. I'd say, up until the dogs get introduced, it's pretty enjoyable, but from what point onwards, it started losing us until we were all good to refund this at the two hour mark

Most lore accurate backrooms game

Pretty fun game to play with friends. Atmosphere is overall pretty creepy, with some maps being much more impressive then expected. Some of the best levels actually ended up being the one's with no entities because it allowed the strong atmosphere to carry. The monsters on pretty much every level were very disappointing. Complete robots with set paths and bland designs. Once and a while they were good but mostly very uninteresting bots. Several levels are also way too tedious for no reason, with double to triple the time spent on the average level. I'd imagine this game could be really difficult playing solo player, but then again I don't really think this is worth playing solo lol

It’s pretty good I beat the whole thing with a couple of friends and had a lot of fun. But it’s still very clearly in early access. There’s not a lot of levels, there’s a lot of bugs and just an overall un-polished feel. I started by beating the whole thing in flat screen then switched over to vr and it’s really bad. I was told that the maker of the game didn’t own vr witch honestly made be more scared to try it then the horror part. But I inevitably booted it up and realized that the the hands aren’t tracked properly to the player model and the left grip button is crouch. I would say hold off for a sale or until the game is actually done

El mismo capullo que se queja de que Gamma jugó 8 horas a las backrooms antes del jueves es el mismo capullo que a los 30 minutos pide que lo dejen de jugar

Pretty good, very spooky, can barely get past the first level.

Insanely fun with friends with great graphics. character models need fixing and so do some entities and some levels just need to be reworked overall

Es una verga pero me lo regalaron asi que no hay drama

silly and spooky. has bugs but still was a good time with friends

too fun if you play with friends ı finished it for 5 - 6 times now

Escape the Backrooms is one of multiple games to be created after the backrooms urban legend/creepy pasta hype. I bought it during a sale, to play it with friends on their stream.

The game itself starts in the infamous yellowish corridors of the backrooms, with each player spawning somewhere different in them. The first task therefore is to find each other, find a key that is hidden in the level and proceed. The game then takes you through various levels, all based on the backrooms mythos, like mostly empty office spaces, parking garages, tunnel systems, and more. Each of these levels feature some kind of puzzles, others feature deadly creatures like a dog with a human face that is louder than standing right next to an exploding nuke.
One thing we found out that seemed pretty counterintuitive is how coops map changes are done. To change from level to level, every single player has to be in the warp zone. However, the warp zones are not recognizable as ones and often led to us being confused on what to do, just to realize all we had to do was to assemble in one room, that didn't look like it would let us proceed in any way. Also, the game, in its current point of development, feels pretty buggy and rough. One of those dog creatures for example despawned on us, while being visible, there seems to be a lot of animations missing or cheaply done... You get the point, right?

The game feels a bit cash grabby, but it's also cheap. If you really want to try it out, play it with friends and buy it during a sale, but unless you're super hyper into the idea of buying the game anyway, I really can't recommend it.

que hayan convertido la idea de los backrooms en: juego genérico scp-wannabe con jumpscares para youtube va a acabar conmigo

Has a lot of potential to be great. Overall a decent game to play with friends

fun with friends, one of the few horror games that lets you control jump scare volume

I can't imagine playing this alone but with friends it's decent. Looking forward to more content.

Cool with frens. Stupid fun time, waiting for more updates

played for a bit with friends. stupid game.

I have never hated Hellhounds more than I do now.

Tomara q melhore

very fun to play with friends
