A cutesy rhythm game with a catchy Vocaloid soundtrack, a chibi style that (for the most part) fits the song's theme, but the raising features & AR cards are just little bonuses, having to perfect a song 6 times (3 difficulties for touch/button play) is annoying, and it's pretty easy-going compared to most Miku titles.

3 stars for Miku, -2 for being hard as fuck.

Song list is not the greatest but overall this is a fun and easy Miku game. Great for newcomers and the art style is cute!

the game is nice to have but its rather lacking where you see there's only 48 songs to play through compared to the others, especially with the gumi cameos which open up a lot more possibilities for songs, i thought there would be more. a wonderful cat's life, brain fluid explosion girl, poster girls prank (unlikely), luvoratory (more unlikely). hell, even solo songs (VERY unlikely) like panda hero or echo.

this game does have good music features for the 48 that are avaliabe like invisible by kemu, skeleton orchestra and lilia by tohma, matryoshka by the fanTASTIC hachi, hello planet, 12 fanclub, electric love, kimi no taion and more im not gonna mention.

the gameplay is reactive, works pretty well, plays pretty well. very simple rhythm gameplay that works for the 3ds and for a good time.
although with super hard difficulty songs like invisible and matryoshka, it is so painful to play them on 3ds. i had to do it on the 2ds and i feel like i felt the carpal tunnel syndrome of a thousand project mirai players.

it's a good treat and looks hella cute, but it becomes a bit lacking and charm wears off after a while. play rhythm heaven

update: giving it a 3 instead of 2.5 because it has puyo puyo

A good solid entry in the seires, though I found the way that the notes are presented made it occasionally too hard to see what was happening. The target cursor traces a line and sometimes it gets very close to the edge, reducing the amount of time a note is on screen accordingly.

My first rhythm game! Turns out, I really like them. I had a lot of fun with this one, just playing a song or two at a time during breaks from studying during grad school.

The songs are vocaloid classics. As a rhythm game beginner, I found the mechanics straightforward and easy to learn, hard to master. I used button controls and found that better than touchscreen controls.

I didn't mess with the life sim stuff as much, I don't feel like it was very fleshed out. But the rhythm stuff was so so fun!

gave it five stars for gumi, removed one and a half for the relatively short song list

My first entry in the Project Diva series which got me seriously on rhythm games after Rhythm Paradise Megamix. Actually is Project Mirai 2 but with real-time animations instead of video clips and revamped charts.

It is a very solid entry of the series for portable consoles thus far. By the time i wrote this i don't actually know much of the franchise itself and had never played a main Project Diva entry due to the fact this is just a spin-off. Aside from the rhythm game, being full of tens and tens of cute songs to play at with both touch and button controls, you can also engage with Miku, Rin and other VOCALOIDs by interacting with her and playing Reversi. Nothing special tough, for me it's the weaker part of the game, but if you need to attempt 100%ing there's the so-called "stamp" achievements you unlock through many sections of the game.

Besides interacting with your own favourite VOCALOID you can also make custom dance sets of the game's songs, buy room items, look at online people's comments (but nowadays i feel like it's pretty much dead due to the passing of time and end of 3DS support), and also mess around with the 3DS camera's AR functionality (i haven't done that because i don't know how to get it to work).

Now, let's be honest with how i play it... i really play it just for the Music Theater mode which is the game's real deal.
There are 48 songs to listen to (by the time i wrote this i've gone through 12 songs because i really keep coming back very often trying to beat all the charts and sometimes improving their score). Gameplay is pretty much in the same formula as Project Diva, but you can choose to play with touch controls or buttons, but they have both separate charts so it can be a bit of a chore to do Easy charts of the same song but with different controls for example.
There are also modifiers, some however are only quite useful for who prefers playing it in a more casual way, but i'd prefer taking the game pretty seriously as i tend to always avoid using the fun modifiers like a cheater.

Can be a real pain to master it, especially the Hard charts tend to be the real knicker of the game if you don't study their note sequences enough. Sometimes you'll still slip even if you think you're good with them. It's not a game for easy going people. Either just play the Easy charts or start trying hard. Overall, this game is helping me get into the series. Might get to Project Diva Megamix+ once i'll eventually beat all the songs (which i can't even tell when because it depends on how i want to beat all the difficulty charts of one song).

Baby's first vocaloid. Painfully easy, mildly fun.

A cute take on the DIVA series with more character interaction than the aforementioned series, great rhythm game that any 3DS owner should give a chance.

i suck cock at this game so i hate it

As músicas são divertidas e os clipes também. Várias opções de roupas e decoração para os vocaloids.

I like the Project Diva games more but this still has it's positives. Also, GUMI.

I admittedly checked into this for the Puyo mode but I was not disappointed with the rhythm game and pet sim and minigames and the small piano either, it's a big package for a little nendo Miku!

Probably the absolute best rhythm game I've ever played.

cutest game in the world and a pretty fun rhythm game. wish they took out the part where you go on a date with hatsune miku. but it is cute when she eats a cake so i get what they were going for

The only Hatsune Miku game I've played as of now. I really liked it.

The song list is pretty varied, though I can see that it's pretty short. I still enjoyed it and many of these songs were certified bangers, even if I didn't understand what was being said. I personally like the chibi art style. Dunno if that's an unpopular take or not. I personally got way too much enjoyment out of the side content, decorating an apartment, playing reversi, and even a mini puyo puyo game that I sucked at. This game supported AR cards and came with 24 double sided cards (iirc) and a lanyard. I thought it was a pretty fun jaunt, even if the song list is kinda low.

This game is pretty bad, but it was the first Miku game I played. It has a lot of timing issues, and it broke my 3ds circle pad.

miku ate a whole steak in 3 bites

The first Hatsune Miku I played. Can't say I'm a super fan of the music but it obviously fits the game pretty well and the rhythm mechanics and corresponding visuals and presentations are very good for what the game is trying to achieve.
