the added context and trivia to songs makes the game one of the best in the series

i have 1300+ hours in this game its pretty good

This game is a pou/osu/dress up, and it manages to be fun in all of this, I really liked the character models from the series while the songs played, it was always very lively and fun to watch, it's a cool game to spend time time and get to know Hatsune Miku's songs.

This makes me feral is so good why on earth is there not a port like my body physically can’t describe how much I love this game.

Fine rhythm game for the 3DS! I'm not a fan of SD designs, but this game is good.

too good for the 3ds to handle. if you have a modded one you can put custom songs on it. very nice.

My introduction to vocaloid outside of playing a tad of Project Diva Extend, and it’s a fun and cutesy take on the project series, I really adore the chibi style and characters. The game is insanely easy for a Project Series game (going off of what I know of the other entries), I got A and S ranks on every song on my first attempt on normal mode. This game does suffer from some bloat issues, notably the fact that there are SIX difficulties for each song (3 on tap mode, 3 on button mode), made worse by having to unlock hard mode by beating the song on normal first. The actual music at first turned me off a bit but vocaloid actually is pretty solid once you get used to the voices, and I found myself liking it quite a bit eventually. There’s also a mode where you can give the vocaloids money and you can see what things they spend it on, alongside being able to decorate their humble abode. ALSO also there’s a puyo puyo mode so I think that makes the game a 6/10 minimum.
This is a scattershot review and I apologize, I really just wanted to yap for a bit about this game because I honestly enjoyed it much. Vocaloid is a weird facet of 2000’s-2010’s otaku culture that I’ve wanted to dig into for a long time so it was nice finally looking into it, I actually went ahead and got both the original Project Diva and Mega Mix (both on Switch and PC) to play later because I had so much fun with this one. I haven’t felt the best recently so I needed something like this to lean on for a bit. Miku is gender

I have fond memories of bonding over this game with my girlfriend, i love her so much and the songs are really good. I always made fun of vocaloid fans till i played this 😭😭

deeply beloved. 154:44 hours spent. <3

i can give len gifts and treats best project diva game

i think ive played this while my parents were arguing once

this game is so fun so much stuff to do in it and
miku

i would use the playlist mode to listen to some of the songs on the school bus home … good memories :’)
also a very comforting and sweet game, love GUMI’s presence

I loved this game as a kid. Spectacular song selection that stands up to this day. It is not as difficult as later games in the series though.

my whole childhood + autism awakening. love this game to death

A pretty fun rhythm game. The song selection is decent and the core game is fun, but I really like the extras in this game. On top of the main game, you can interact and play games with a few of the characters. You can also buy them outfits which unlock as you play through the songs as once you complete a song, the outfit from that song becomes available to purchase. You can also give the characters an allowance and you can red a log to see where they use that money. You can also buy furniture to decorate your characters room. This game also just has Puyo Puyo in it for some reason. You can also make music video with songs from the game and adding your own dances via button inputs. I didn't care much for this but I am sure other people loved it. My only real issue with the game isnthatbyou have to complete a song on normal before you can play on hard. Hard is way more fun than easy and normal. I would have played every song on hard if I could have, so I just played a few I really like again on hard difficulty.

this game has an amazing list of songs, and i love the ost outside of the vocaloid songs here too. its fun to play with the loids though im confused as to why gumi is excluded from that? the ui and overall aesthetic is great, and omg!! pinocchio-p made the theme and outfit for that one module for this game!! there's even an 8bit version of the song!!!! yeah.

for what it is i think it is cute and fun

this is better than most baby game rhythm games but worse than most actual rhythm games
