New updates with loads of content put into the game very frequently, and a dev that listens to his fans. Even if you aren't really interested in the firearm simulation aspect of it, you can have a ton of fun in the non-sandbox gamemodes, and end up turning into you a bit of a gun nut in the process. Only $20 with more to do than most games that cost 2 or 3 times its price.

incredibly fun with very realistic handling of each gun. Very fun to learn about firearms i've never heard of and then shoot hotdogs with them. Plenty of fun sandboxes gamemodes ranging from point capture to skeeball but with grenades. I'd say this game is a must-buy for anyone with VR, and with consistent content updates, the games definitely worth its $20 price tag.

+ The most advanced VR gun game to date
+ An incredibly devoted developer that puts nothing but love into this game. Seriously, this game should be worth way more than $15 for what you get.

A virtual gun museum and physics sandbox that you can blow yourself up in. Also has a Metal Gear Solid mode with a ton of longevity.

Anton Hands passion project of an infinitley fun gun sandbox

corn dogs, sketcher shoes, and lemonades

Best VR gunplay out there, thwarted by the fact it's just a bunch of experimental mini games (emphasis on mini)

Would be great with mods and multiplayer

The 2nd best VR game out today and the best most consistently updated VR game. Nothing feels as good to shoot in any other game.

this will change the trajectory of games to come for YEARS

i'm no god-fearing american, but this shit is like crack to me.

If you love guns and have a vr this is a must have

The closest a lad from my country is ever going to get to a 1911.

so fun to mess around with, but not sure if it's just me, but, holding a gun with 2 hands is incredibly buggy.

I know nothing but guns but it's very fun. Worth it for Meat Fortress alone.

A damn fine VR gun simulator. So many weapons, attachments, explosives, and other fun stuff to mess around with. It even has a Team Fortress 2 themed mode. And not only that, the game usually receives updates every Friday and has a great modding community!
"Wonderful."

I like to have fun shooting without going through a tedious reload process every 3 seconds so it's not really my thing but the variety and detail is impressive. Also the hotdog thing is dumb.

This is the best vr game ive played.

The only real con is there really is only one game mode (take and hold) that has substance to it that I enjoy. This is a VERY light con though as take and hold is super fun and very replayable.

The dev , Anton Hand, is always adding new things and fixing problems that might come up. Every friday, Anton releases a devlog to his youtube channel and usually pushes a beta build to steam. New features can range from quality of life changes like hand filtering to combat the shakiness of quest 2 poorer tracking to grappling hook guns.

I highly recommend this game. If you are on the fence, look up “take and hold h3vr” on youtube to get a feel for what the meat and potatoes of this game.

If you like realistic mechanisms and firearm operation, H3VR is the best VR game you can get. It's been getting constant updates since 2016 and has easily made its way not only into my regular rotation, but has become an active and ongoing part of my routine.

It's a little clunky and obtuse when you first start out, but with some coming updates featuring an updated item spawner and HMD specific tutorial system, the learning curve should be much more flat.

With a ton of modes included, besides various types of ranges, there is a lot to see, do, and discover - and that's not even counting the leaderboards for their most popular mode, Take and Hold!

It's my favourite VR game, and all I do in it is shoot at hot dogs. Buy it.

My absolute favorite vr game so far! Really well made models and plenty of stuff to do. Controls can be a little hard to learn but they really smooth feeling for the most part (some of the more complex moves like locking a slide on a pistol was a little hard having to click and move the joystick on a quest 2). It also gets plenty of updates and improvements pretty much every new week. If you like guns and VR it is a near perfect game to pick up. I bought a VR for games like Boneworks but stayed for H3VR.

You can blow yourself up in new, exciting, and immersive ways. Must have for anyone with VR

Incredible sandbox for all things firearms. Nothing even comes close to how good it feels to use guns in this.

The fact you can essentially play Team Fortress 2 in VR instantly puts this at 4 stars.

My main problem with this game is that it felt more like a sort of demo than a complete game.
It gives you a large variety of guns you can shoot with, but at the end of the day, that's all it does really. You can shoot at some sausages, sure, but it just doesn't feel nice.

It's a bit weird to live in the UK and have opinions about the UMP45, clap when you see an FN Five SeveN etc., but this is what growing up playing too much Rogue Spear does to a fragile young mind. As an outlet for that particular kind of insanity this game is really cool, a gun simulator with an absurd amount of firearms to test out and do all the little things you want to do with cool guns. Wanna fan the hammer on an old sixgun? You got it. You know in movies when someone has an MP5 variant and they smack the charging handle forward like a super cool guy? You can do that. Want to explode a walking hot dog with the gun from Blade Runner? Your prayers have been answered! Playing for any decent length of time will turn you into someone you may have reservations about being, but hey, isn't it really cool to flick your wrist and snap that shotgun closed...?
That stuff aside, the obvious drawback here is playable content. There's some rudimentary modes that are kind of cool, but it's against bots only - what this really needs is some form of multiplayer, even if it's just players vs the AI. Actually, that would be pretty cool in Take & Hold! As it stands it's still fun to jump into one of the shooting range maps and see how well you can handle the gun you're in the mood of this afternoon, but I'm guessing unless you're already starting from the position of having a brain with long-term lead poisoning like mine, that's probably not going to be enough for long. Interested to see where it ends up though!

Realistic gun simulator, you should only buy if you have good an accurate VR controllers. Mine don't work well :(

you hop in vr and you shoot guns its a good time
