Probably the best of the 2D Marios I've played. Cape and Yoshi are great powerups, game's plenty long, and it actually offers a challenge in the standard campaign and the hidden worlds.

A perfectly acceptable alternative to the SNES version, barring some botched sound and vertical screen crunch. I think the improved save and health management justify its faults.

Overbrightened SMW with Luigi and fast travel. Just as good as the SNES game imo. It also keeps track of your dragon coins and gives them more purpose

i had the nintendo power guide to this game so it's the only mario game i've ever 100%ed

This was how I originally experienced Super Mario World and I think it's a fine way to do so. It is different, for sure, and I will rank it a bit lower because I think this game plays worse on a GBA and Luigi's floaty slippery controls were not enjoyable

El mejor Super Mario con permiso del Super Mario Bros. 3.

this is the first video game that i've ever played

Best way to play Super Mario World, hands down. It improves somethings and Luigi adds even more replay value. People make such a big deal out of the screen crunch, especially when in-game Donut Plains 3 brings up camera controls. Dare I say the SNES version's overrated and is only good for 2 player.

Still an incredible game, but screen scrunch makes it less enjoyable.

It's not as good as the original classic (inferior music, lowered difficulty), but this serves as a nice alternate version. Giving Luigi different attributes than Mario is a welcome change. The results screen that tracks your progress is really cool, and I like the incentive to collect all the dragon coins. Overall, a good port/remake.

I burned my eyes out playing this nonstop on a GBA without a backlight

I like the song that plays in the intro.

This title gives me an aneurism

É um ótimo port do famosíssimo Super Mario World.

Pretty much the same thing as the original SNES version but with a more forgiving save system and slightly lesser quality of music. Still a great 2D Mario to casual pick up and replay anytime.

This was my first Mario game. Solid port of World from SNES. Music's great, more added features for GBA, and it added Yoshi. Not my favorite 2d Mario, but still a classic in its own right.

A handheld way to play a GOATed game.

This game does what the other truly great Mario games do, give the player joy through variety. Mario jumps and does some other stuff if he has power-ups or Yoshi, and all the gameplay toys with that. The key I think if that the variety here is a just a bit broader than others in the series. It slaps.

more like super mario retract

Overall a well done conversion of a classic. Yeah, there is screen crunch and the music is a bit compressed, but it doesn't ruin the experience that much, the game is still one of the best 2D platformers of all time.
