If you find this cringey that means it's good.

A short and emotional prologue to 'Life Is Strange 2'.

With it being free, short and basically serving as a prologue to Life is Strange 2, Captain Spirit is an endearing little story, sure to stay in your mind for a couple of days at least. It's far from perfect or even all that interesting, but I glad i jumped into Chris' shoes for a couple of hours

A short, little adventure that gives you a glimpse inside how optimistic and pure the mind of a kid can be while he's involved in an awful and unfortunate situation.

It's good for what it is.

Good if you wanna see an abusive childhood with some whimsy

A really endearing and well-made prequel to Life is Strange 2, which I am excited to finally play. The story balances childlike wonder and coping with trauma in such a seamless way, and I find that incredibly intriguing. The best story driven games, in my mind, find that perfect balance between heartwarming and soul-crushing. This ticks that box for me.

very good life is strange prequel

Cool demo, not much more to say about it, way too short to be really good

Ein charmanter Vorgeschmack auf "Life is Strange 2".

The OST is great and i love Captain Spirit's creativity. It's a wholesome spin-off.

Unsettlingly real abusive family with comically bad resolution in the actual game it's attached to

Better than average but still handles certain themes without almost any care like the first season. It's free though so it isn't the worst way to spend an hour.

Players probably fill up with sorrow and anger when they hear “playable teaser” but that’s exactly what The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is. Instead of being a meaty demo for a doomed horror game, it’s an extended free sampling of the upcoming Life is Strange 2, of which some of Captain Spirit‘s choices will carry over to. While details are slim about that second season, Captain Spirit faithfully captures most of the essence of the first game in its two-hour runtime for better and for worse.

Life is Strange was a game that had a heavy impact on my teenage years. Watching E3 and realizing that this was not Life is Strange 2, but yet a mediocre game with half-baked ideas they weren't going to use in the actual sequel made me absurdly sad.

It's definitely a way to kill an hour. It was okay.

This game is free so it's really a matter of "is it worth playing", and if you were waiting for Life is Strange 2, I'd tell you yes. Those 3 or so months are kinda the only time that make Captain Spirit worth playing, but after that? Nah, there really isn't much here, The game is under 2 hours, doesn't have a lot of impact on Life is Strange 2, and in general isn't that fun.

It certainly be more interesting if the Chris character actually had more impact on Life is Strange 2, but considering it's just different dialogue really doesn't do much for it's favor. The main problem being Chris's situation with his father, and the neglect he actually faces, it's not so much that Chris's story isn't interesting, it just never becomes conclusive. So you can have all these adventures with Captain Spirit, enjoy the new graphics and music from Dontnod, but in the end you're really not going to get an end, just a sneak peak at what's going on in Life is Strange 2. If that seems up your alley, than please enjoy, but for most it's just going to be a very impressive tech demo.

jogo tipo life is strange, só que bem meh
