for being the most aclaimed ufc game, this game has a lot of problems, all the complex parts that make ufc interesting and fun to watch feel like little minigames, and that is because they are.
the stand up is fun,i like the submission minigame but i hate the way transitions are handled in this game,is just guessing most of the time and since all the ground transitions tutorials in the game are broken is extremely confusing how the system even works, and even after understanding it at the end of the day is just guessing and it makes to fight ground and pound absolutely awful, also predicting takedowns up close when the game gives you a milisecond to react feels awful
and the game is just lacking in gamemodes, with an extremely basic career mode compared to ea mma and the other game modes not being much better
something that the game does well is including pride and ufc,it makes for an amazing roster
overall, expecting much more and i still think the mma doesnt have an amazing game, unlike boxing that has much better more well done games, even though i like mma better than boxing
decent 6

I put thousands of hours into this. I couldn't tell you how many. Gotta be a sickening number. An embarrassing number. We used to run tournaments in the dorm and I would win almost every single time. I was a god at this game. Never has their been any video game I've ever been as good at.
UFC Undisputed 3 still remains the best UFC game to date. It had the best simulation style game play and the best mixture of fun ground game/clinch work and stand up skill. It wasn't cheesy feeling on the ground like the EA versions and it didn't feel as arcadey in the stand-up. The roster was fairly deep.
The career mode was fun enough, but lots of repeat fights as fighters never aged out and new ones never replenished. This is the one thing deducting 0.5 stars from the rating. Multiplayer was amazing and could be played endlessly. Wildly entertaining. PRIDE FC fights were awesome too.
The definitive MMA experience and it absolutely still holds up compared to the EA UFC franchise (which only edges Undisputed 3 in graphics)
