Esse é O jogo do Batman. Todos os jogos do Batman são o ápice dos games, mas esse é especial. A história é incrível, o Batman e os vilões são muito bem explorados, o combate do Asylum foi melhorado em 100x, e o jogo possui um dos finais mais tristes, reflexivos e depressivos dos games (ninguém se importa, mas Arkham City é uma das únicas mídias que conseguiu usar 3 vilões principais de maneira coesa e balanceada, se compararmos com outras mídias de super-herói como o filme do Homem-Aranha 3 por exemplo)

Even now this game is amazing. Takes what Arkham Asylum does and improves on what it does great and fixes some things it doesn't do great. I think my main problem (outside of 100% (or at least what I've done of it) is just like, while I do like them more, I still could do without the Catwoman sections, and I wish there was a way to skip them without uninstalling the DLC (which you can't do for Return to Arkham and I think the console releases of the GOTY version.)

Se errar é humano quem fez esse jogo é alienígena, os criadores desse jogo são de outro planeta, é impressionante como esse jogo consegue melhorar em 100% o seu antecessor, conseguiram melhorar o combate colocando novos gadgets e ações para o morcegão, acrescentaram grandes camadas para a história, tornando todos os vilões que participaram dela muito inesquecíveis e cada um com a sua importância, até mesmo os vilões nas sides quests são bons e tem momentos interessantes.
O arco do próprio cavaleiro das trevas é brilhante mais uma vez, com seu famoso dilema de vida, e ele explora isso até o fim, o seu antagonista, o Coringa, que também é simplesmente brilhante e imprevisível, e uma história em que teoria ele não era o foco principal, mas no fim, todos os caminhos levam a eles se enfrentarem.
ABSOLUTE CINEMA. JOGÃO.
Saudades de um jogo assim da Rocksteady...

Após mergulhar de cabeça no asilo, fui direto pra cidade. Ainda maravilhado do primeiro jogo da franquia, comecei a jogar este título e foi outra experiência inesquecível. Amei a liberdade de ter uma cidade para explorar, a possibilidade de usar a mulher gato, a história mais aprofundada, as mecânicas de gameplay mais avançadas, esse jogo dava a sensação de abrir as asas e sair voando, e, assim como o anterior, joguei e rejoguei em todas as plataformas possíveis após zerar a primeira vez, nos anos seguintes. guardo no meu peito a franquia Arkham inteira como um pedaço de mim

(this time around i played it on my ps4)

i remember i was at a cousin's home when he was gifted with this game. we beat it in a matter of few days. i became obsessed with it and did it all over again on my own modded xbox 360.

i replayed it in 2023 and here are my opinions about the experience:

-the side missions are mediocre at best. i was never interested in doing them and when i went out of my way to finish one, it disappointed me.

-the voice actors did an amazing job with arkham city. kevin conroy and mark hammil are especially good.

-the open world is great. it's the one thing that made this game better than its predecessor.

-the combat system was copied to death by other franchises and it's still great -though i have to say that i only utilized the gadgets mid battle because i forced myself to do it; they are not that integrated into the free flow combat system.

-the story works because of the great villain and city characterization, not because of the main hero; this batman is too much of a video game character: he's an empty shell the players project ourselves into. the one moment his personality stood out to me was when he made the most "batman" decision posible: to save the city instead of talia.

-the predator levels are to this day the best thing about the arkham trilogy. i love them so much!

Batman Arkham City is the first Batman Arkham game that I play. I attempted to play it last year but I did not enjoy it, the story didn't captivated me and i found the combat boring and tiring. Recently, I decided to give the game one last chance. It was wonderful. I don't know why but this time, the story had captivated me, the combat was extremely fun (Perhaps the high difficulty contributed to this), Bruce is remarkable, the secondary characters are amazing. Can't wait to play Arkham Knight. Sorry for the long review.
