Just finished "Dead Cells" and wow, what a ride! This game has totally changed how I see fast-paced combat games. The parry system? Amazing. The enemies start off tough, but they’re totally learnable, which means you get better the more you play. Even though it’s pretty hard at first, the right builds and a few tries make a huge difference.

The music was a standout for me—those 8-bit tracks in the Clock Tower and High Peak Castle levels were killer!

But by the end, I was pretty burned out, didn't chase down the true ending, and just watched it on YouTube instead. No regrets though, this game deserves all the hype it gets.

A bit off-topic but related: I'm a bigger fan of "Hades" overall, but I'm still excited for what’s next, like "Hades 2." And I heard the team behind "Dead Cells" isn't at Motion Twin anymore—hope they're cooking up something new!

Brilliant Rogue-like, probably the best I’ve played. Awesome art style with great mechanics. Don’t think I’ll ever get bored with the different loadouts you can build.

when the cells are dead (hahaha)

Honestly it was neat but felt very samey

Really good, and when you get good at the game, you DESTROY.

fun game. very frustrating when you die though.

The ability to cancel any move with another action makes Dead Cells' combat very smooth and fast-paced. There is very little emergent gameplay which results in each run feeling the same.

Amazing, all DLCs are worth every penny

i cant do it... im not strong enough..
and got a bit bored, sorry supercell

loved this game a lot early on but I can't help but feel like its kinda gotten worse with every update. theres just so much shit in it now that it feels bloated, and the constant escalation of references to other games just got grating over time but i also might just be a needless hater on that front. the combat alone is what keeps me coming back to the game every now and then however, its probably the best out of basically all the roguelikes (that ive played) tbh

Solid rogue like that just wasn’t able to hold my attention all that much.

Best rouge-like and it's not even close.

I hate when I disappoint my owl.

Originally rage quit this game then came back and beat the boss and then rage quit again when I realized how much more there was after. ❤️

Haven't really finished this, keeping on deck to go back to it now and then.

Game is nice, but not too interesting IMO. Weapon RNG is irritating more than anything else.

incredibly tight and satisfying combat. that's it, that's the game for me

My introduction to rogue-like games.

Jogo absurdo de bom um dos melhores roguelike games ja feitos

I've played about 5 or 6 runs, and I am bored now. Nothing is really pulling me to try to get deeper. Combat is pretty decent but overall the game just feels too arcadey for my taste. Also, nothing of the story, world, or identity of the game is really hooking me either. As far as roguelikes go, you gotta be really good to keep me interested, and this one isn't doing it for me.
