"How does somebody become evil?"
Just like that. Good of course but still suffers from your usual choice-driven final episode syndrome: loose ends feel like they're suddenly being tied up too quickly, any new choices made here don't feel too substantial, more restrictive general gameplay, this-or-that ending choices that leave you feeling either unsatisfied or more unsatisfied, etc. Left me wanting so much more overall, but the nightmare stuff is a fittingly dark dissection of Max's psyche and the animus which has ripped this town irreparably apart (stemming from a community blindly lashing out against their own traumas). Fate may be cruel, but that is not for you to decide.
