I really don’t know how to review this because as a full game it’s not that much, but because I hated bf1 and this is just a massive improvement of this in every aspect I have to give it it’s props.

And by everything I really do think in most aspects: the guns feel so much smoother aswell as the hit detection actually works, the amount of creativity is so heavily expanded that I felt like I could so much bf1 only edges it because it has horsies.

I played some of the war stories and they were fine, they were about the same as bf1 I think I would only suggest this to someone if you’ve never played battlefield, because it’s a fun way to kinda pick up every aspect of the game and some of the guns.

As dumb as the decisions ea makes I still do enjoy the core mechanics and the sandbox elements of battle field, and although I’m playing past the games prime I still think they can make a good game.

This game is basically just a downgraded Battlefield 1. If you've played Battlefield 1 already, there is zero reason to pick up this game. The graphics are slightly worse and the war stories aren't as good. The only thing the war stories do better in this game than 1 is making the scale of some of these levels much bigger, which genuinely does make the single-player experience feel a bit more like Battlefield with the larger scale and destructibility. I also think that the Last Tiger war story was PHENOMENAL and this game's version of The Runner from BF1. Other than that, the other war stories here were narratively weaker than 1 despite the better level design. This game also has one less war story than BF1. On the multiplayer side of things, I will be much more positive. The amount of modes it has is INSANE. Grand Operations, Final Stand, a dogfight mode, AND A BATTLE ROYALE MODE? I get that this game's lifecycle was rough and had some major overhauls but in its current state? It's great. If you have the game laying around in your library somewhere or see it on sale, it's definitely worth a shot. It's nothing extraordinary but it's pretty solid.
