A cool idea for a physics puzzle game but unfortunately doesn't show it's full potential with the puzzles being relativity easy & ends too quickly. Would've been nice to have some extra levels that really pushed it's ideas.

Neat gameplay that doesn't feel utilized to its full potential. Could have been grander and puzzlier. Writing is lolrandumb millenial shit. I had a decent amount of fun after blocking it out though. Doesn't overstay its welcome

Wish there was more time to be the donut as I thoroughly enjoyed the mechanic, but found myself skipping dialogue and cut scenes just so I can get back to donut time.

This was a fun short game I don't remember much but definitely a game you want to get cheap as it doesn't offer much.

really silly would recommend

Had a ton of fun with this game. Funny story and fun mechanics.

every time someone compares this game to katamari damacy i put a hole into my wall. short, gimmicky game with no actual level design or difficulty or 'game' really it's just a little toy interrupted by awful dialogue. a good game for aunts and bozos.

Wish it was a tad bit longer but overall it was very cute, and very fun.

katamari but in negative space. it's short but really fun and a great way to spend a couple hours with friends :]

Donut County is a beautifully designed puzzle game with quality that I could only compare to Portal. With a combination of charming story, level aesthetics, and gameplay, I give Donut County a heavy recommendation for puzzle gamers

Esse jogo me passou aquela vibe de Unpacking de "isso tá divertido, não sei como", tu é um buraco que faz coisas de buraco, que de repente vira uma história da dominação de uma cidade por guaxinins capitalistas.

Adorei.

That Raccoon pissed off the government. It's all his fault.

Donut County is a physics-based puzzle game where you control a hole in the ground and your goal is to swallow everything in the level!

It's a very fun game which artstyle and gameplay reminds me a lot of Katamari Damacy. I do wish the game was longer though. Even with being AFK, I still managed to get every achievement in 3 and a half hours.

If you want a short but sweet game though, I highly recommend this game!

It's hard not to love Donut County's look and feel, with Ben Esposito and company delivering a quirky product that is equal parts beautiful and funny. While the stay in Donut County is a painfully short one, it is easily worth the drive through the neighborhood to see what the town has to offer.

Damned raccoons, also, the game plays very different when you try it on an iPad compared to the console sibling

Donut County's quirky cutscenes aren't enough to disguise how boring it is. Almost every level is just identifying the smallest object on the screen before moving onto the next smallest one.

boring gameplay saved by funy and specifically the soundtrack of the raccoon house

One of my all time favorites. Its short but really good.

really didn't enjoy this game, the gameplay is serviceable, the music is pretty good, but the characters and story are awful. Maybe I'm just too cynical for this, but I either was just mildly annoyed by or straight up hated all of the characters, especially B.K.. I finished the game so people can't be like "oh he gets redeemed" I don't care, he's a selfish prick who really didn't face any consequences for his actions and his friend is way to lenient on him. I'm just a cynical asshole I know, but god I really don't know why I bothered finishing the story 'cause I really did not enjoy it.

both satisfying and relaxing with funny and lovable cast!

Relaxing game, perfect for the steam deck!

A short and sweet experience, I can't help but compare Donut County to Katamari Damacy... but in reverse. Rather than roll an entire city into a ball, Donut County has you play as a movable hole, growing with every item that falls into it, as you completely consume a scene. It's more of a puzzle game than anything, as the only challenge to this game is recognizing which items can fit in the current size of your hole. Unlike Katamari though, there's no freeform aspect to the game at all. Replaying any of the levels would more or less play out the exact same way. This greatly reduces replayablility, which could be a problem in a game that I was able to finish in one sitting, but I think the gameplay is therapeutic enough to still be fun even in the future. The plot of this game is surprisingly well-written. It has a lot of "Gen Z" humor in the character's motivations and responses to each other, but I found this to be a really fresh and humorous experience. Overall, it's a fun game that executes its premise well. Sure, it's on the shorter side, but I'm not sure there's too much more they could really go with the concept, unless they wanted to really increase the scope.

I've seen other people say that this game being short is a positive as it means it doesn't overstay it's welcome, but personally for me with the game being so short, I feel doesn't fully explore the gameplay potential of a game where you control a hole. With other games I would be fine with them being super short and simple, but I feel like there's too much dialogue in between the levels that really halt the pacing to make it a smooth experience. Playing through the levels is like eating an appetizer where you're getting a tasty small taste, and then once you feel like you're gonna get a big hearty meal with more in depth mechanics, you get hit with the bill, and then you kind of repeat this for the entire game.

Donut County is great and I wish there were more of it!

The gameplay is essentially reverse-Katamari and that's what's so fun about it. It's enjoyable, peaceful and you can take your time. The storyline is fun and the characters are quirky. Possum is obviously the best character!

Definitely recommending this game! I love it!

More games should take an idea presented in a fake mobile game ad and turn it into a game about Raccoons destroying a whole town.

One of those short but sweet indie games where it has a fun gameplay mechanic, it's mini-gamey like wario ware but a bit longer. Love the humor though it boils down to random quirky comedy at times but I still chucked at it.

Overall, it was a fun short game.
