Before starting this I had no appreciation for the setting of the game, and no real expectations for the gameplay or story.
An excellent video game. Probably the best of its kind. Thanks to fairly convincing motion capture and great voice talent, being "stuck" in a conversation was always sort of captivating.
Driving feels really good. Shooting feels really good. I never felt like the game was taken away from me like some AAA titles tend to do.
Shout out to the workers who busted their asses through crunch time, and post-launch fixes to deliver this amazing game. Shame on the studio for forcing them to do all that.

I can see why the gameplay in this game went away, but I do miss a good level-based objective-focused FPS experience. Nevermind the simple joy of blasting your buddy with a rocket launcher in multiplayer.
One of the better games of 2023 that I played. It takes everything from the previous game and just adds to it. More guns. More mods. More powers. The class system elevates things even more, and the surreal and horrific worlds you visit are quite interesting.
