i can see why so many people have rated it very low because of the bad writing for characters, intense grinding that becomes repetitive and tiring, and the gacha but i do feel like parts of the lore were nice and the game is genuinely beautiful. my favorite character was lumine so i never really felt stressed about doing the gacha and getting newly released characters which made the overall game to me feel like a breath of fresh air. recommend it to people who don't spend money on games, can control themselves, and love gorgeous rpgs with amazing scenery and art. never playing this again though because there are SO MANY flaws.
Pretty bad game!
The combat is ok and you'll never really hit a point where you can't progress unless you pay, so that's good. But the grind is still silly and the map is massive but dull. The game, in a "masterful" gambit, de-incetivizes playing with friends for more than about an hour each day. So this is too thinly designed to be a satisfying solo experience, but playing co-op often doesn't make sense. Also I wanna kill Paimon with hammers.
