It's just pokemon Sun and Moon with a little extra. That Necrozma bossfight will always be memorable, same with the Rainbow Rocket episode, I think that was in this game? Postgame legendary stuff through the ultra wormholes was cool. And I should have mentioned this in my SM review but I liked pokemon SOS stuff because it was one of the only times I really shiny hunted. At the end of the day though this was just more pokemon.
th only pokemon game ive played where i cant look past the glaring flaws that surround th usually great core pokemon gameplay . th story doesnt interest me whatsoever but theres just so much more of it than in other games i feel . plus th slight changes they made to th usual pokemon formula (particularly to th gyms system) , i really dislike , altho i can commend them for finally changing things up after 20 years .
What I did like:
- Team Skull.
- Some of the environment designs were cool.
What I didn't like:
- Pretty much everything else. This game continues the trend of the X and Y curse. It's far too easy, Z-moves aren't very exciting once you've used them more than once, mega evolutions aren't obtainable until the end of the game, and the story is boring. Even with the inclusion of worm-hole travel, a city in another dimension and space pokemon!
