why was this game made

GooeyScale: 55/100

While Sun/Moon are good games, the Ultra games were easily the most pointless of Pokemon's definitive editions. In some instances it made it worse, like with the Lillie story near its end. Or Ultra Necrozma, which design-wise is pretty cool and a notoriously difficult fight by Pokemon standards, the area it's encountered in was incredibly disappointing. It was definitely this game where Pokemon's decline in quality started to affect my perception of the series at that point.

th only pokemon game ive played where i cant look past the glaring flaws that surround th usually great core pokemon gameplay . th story doesnt interest me whatsoever but theres just so much more of it than in other games i feel . plus th slight changes they made to th usual pokemon formula (particularly to th gyms system) , i really dislike , altho i can commend them for finally changing things up after 20 years .

lazy cash grab that makes the already "that was neat" story of sun and moon worse

The last good Pokemon game. Also the only Pokemon game I completed the Pokedex for.

Thought it was weird that they removed some of the post game from sun/moon

My only slight point of criticism, is that the story is just a re-telling (albeit with an expanded world). There was so much potential for a sequel, as the originals left many questions unanswered; additionally, this re-telling meant that the amazing villain of the original was nothing more than a rendition of Mother Theresa. For those who had just played Sun and Moon in preparation for this, must have felt cheated.
However, it's still a great game; the extended library of Ultra Beasts are freaky and welcoming. Finally, the Rocket-themed postgame is a love letter to fans of the past generations. Lastly, Necrozma and their extended lore is just a genuine treat (and powertrip).

i stopped bothering with the series after whatever this was..

A mesma merda só que sem o Shiny

i dont really get why this game was made lmfao
