The best co-op zombie experience there is. Countless hours in this game with my brothers and friends. Also one of the first games I got every achievement in.
It's the same game but with a new story, characters, maps and some new weapons I think. That and they put all of the L4D1 maps and characters in this one so you literally have no reason to play the first one.

É o jogo mais importante da minha vida, eu jogo isso desde que me conheço por gente, eu jogava pirata com online no garena e agradeço muito por não ter condições de comprar o jogo na época, porque se eu tivesse talvez eu não teria conhecido o meu grupo de amigos mais querido, esse jogo assim como é importante pra mim, também é para muita gente que jogou isso em qualquer época, esse jogo é insano o esmero que foi colocado nele, até hoje eu pago muito pau pra valve por essas animações de ragdoll dos zumbis, e até hoje esse jogo é uma delicia de se jogar, e apesar de já se terem passado 14 anos desde o lançamento dele, eu consigo afirmar de boca cheia que não tem até hoje nenhum jogo de zumbi co-op que tenha conseguido fazer o que esse jogo fez, é um marco absurdo, infelizmente na steam eu não tenho tantas horas quando deveria, mas com toda certeza se eu conseguisse contabilizar quantas tardes eu já passei jogando esse jogo com toda certeza são mais de mil horas

Left 4 Dead 2 is a total blast from the past, especially for those who love mowing down hordes of zombies with friends. It's a simple concept – four survivors gotta work together to survive a crazy zombie apocalypse. The campaigns are fun and frantic, the different special infected keep you on your toes, and there's tons of replayability thanks to the random Director AI that tweaks things up each time. The graphics might be a bit dated, and the lack of a story is a bummer, but for pure, chaotic co-op zombie slaying fun with friends? Left 4 Dead 2 is still one of the best out there.

I can't speak to the game's single player offerings nor it's campaigns - but the versus mode in this game is some fo the most fun multiplayer bullshit tat you can get into with a group of like minded friends.
