The humor and writing was very hit or miss for me which is a hard thing to get over in a game that puts its comedy at the forefront. The voice acting is good across the board and does a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of making some of the weaker jokes land a bit more, but the main character really grated on my nerves (she's a very specific type of precocious wisecracking kid character that I just cannoooot stand).

The Papers Please-lite gameplay is nothing special but I did like the feeling that I was watching a cartoon with some easy puzzle solving thrown in every now and then. I can't help but like this game at least a little bit, if I had found it funnier I think I would have been really into this! As it is, I appreciated it as a short, not too challenging experience with bright cartoon visuals and a constant stream of jokes to satisfy my brain, long rotted by short form videos of people making slime and crushing stuff in a hydraulic press

I just wish the game was a bit longer and your actions effect more of the game. I don't feel like this game does enough of that.
