Hatsune Miku is like THE comfort character of mine, so this game makes me happy (also I love saki tenma)

i now know what true addiction feels like

It's probably the best rhythm games on mobile.
The UI is clean and the characters models and animations are good, plut the cards illustrations are always high quality stuff.
The songs are generally good and the selection is impressive, but I'd say some covers aren't really that good; aside from that, there's a lot of songs to choose from, so anyone can find something for itself, and that's a good thing! Also, and this is really important for a mobile game: every song is free (you can get a new one everyday).

The charts are usually good and the gameplay is smooth, which is always nice.
Everything is easy to understand and online modes are great, with a new competition every new event.

I like Vocaloid and I wish the game was more centered around them, but I guess the original cast of characters is interesting too. Sometimes, they tend to fall in the generic shoujo/shonen anime character area, maybe in order to appeal to a younger audience (something that has sometimes stopped me from continuing the stories which, despite interesting, are clearly written for middle/high schooler), but since the story is completely optional, that's not too much of a burden to take.

I just with the devs could learn to tune the voicebanks for Vocaloid, because they sound ATROUCIOUS.
Like Luka, my girl, what have they done to your angelic voice?

i loooove vocaloid a lot and the track list introduced me to a lot of great hits, and even some of the songs commissioned for the game are pretty good. the rhythm gameplay itself is decent, kind of basic but more than playable and even kind of fun
most unfortunately, it's a live service gacha game. i really don't care for any of the ocs, and the constantly rotating events and new songs being added kind of annoyed me with their frequency. this feels more like a game that you pick up when you feel like it rather than a daily commitment, and i guess i just disliked coming back to this game occasionally and having to catch up on several newly added songs that i felt obligated to play through twice on the two highest difficulties. and besides the rhythm game, there is REALLY not much else to do here, which makes it a pretty boring game after a few days of committed play. maaaaybe i'll come back to it another year, but idk

Probably my favorite mobile rhythm game I've played, though that is definitely because I am a huge Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid fan. I really like all the original characters and music written for this game, and despite not playing it anymore (I don't even have the game downloaded to my phone at the moment) I still keep up with the storyline and fanbase online. I prefer the Japanese release of the game to the English one, but I have played both equally.
