First 3DS game i beat in quite a few years and Im glad i went with it. For a handheld game its not a nice, slower pace and puts emphasis on immersion and spectacle when its appropriate.
Main thing holding it back besides inconsisten quality, is poor pacing. The structure seemed to have wrote the devs into a corner wich causes some obvious padding with the mission list. You arent exploring these open spaces at your own pace, but are taken down specific routes, wich id say only really worked for 2 of the 5 locations.
Regardless, it was a really enjoyable time and id say an easy recommend as a bundle of fun ideas and a overall cohesive and charming experience.

I spent so much time playing this game since I always wanted to play the series but didn't have a gamecube. Probably one of the coolest multiplayer modes ever, they cooked with that shit
Still charming but only a shadow of the first one.
