You command three explorers stranded on a lush alien planet, enlisting the aid of adorable plant-like Pikmin to overcome obstacles, battle whimsical creatures, and collect resources. With its diverse Pikmin types, cleverly designed environments, and a focus on efficient time management, Pikmin 3 is a satisfyingly unique adventure filled with both frantic action and serene moments of discovery.
Beat this on both Wii U and Switch. Still holds up after all these years.
The atmosphere and gameplay loop make this game so fun no matter how stressful the time management is! I am so glad this was my first pikmin game because it only makes me want to check out the other games more <3
My only regret is that I haven't played this game sooner
