Must cross the water to whatever the hell it's called

Pokémon Silver Version was a revolutionary sequel in the franchise, taking everything that worked in its predecessors and amplifying it. The day/night cycle added new depth to exploration and battles, while the inclusion of two regions and 16 gym badges made for an incredibly long and satisfying adventure. Breeding and held items introduced a complex layer of strategy, shaping the competitive scene for years to come. Pokémon Silver Version remains a beloved classic and one of the best handheld RPGs ever made.

Lugia and Houndoom's design shaped my aesthetic preferences for the rest of my life and I am happy for it. Also the first game I played as a child that implemented character development through game mechanics
