I never played the originals so the nostalgia card doesn’t work with me. I basically though this was going to be a good game because everyone say it is, and surprise, it’s not. I mean, it probably was when it first released, but it aged really poorly so a remaster so true to the main source doesn’t work nowadays.
It honestly looks like they wanted easy money from nostalgics with a lazy remaster.

Great remaster. I have strong nostalgia for these. Modern graphics and controls (got better after Patch 1) much appreciated. Enjoyed TR1 the most, and by TR3 I got fatigued and shelved it (Aldwych level was a real downer). Don't recommend playing these one after another unless you really enjoy it / know the levels by heart. Recommended for those who already played the originals, but I can only recommend Tomb Raider 1 for new players.
