Would have preferred this were a new IP instead of Watch Dogs, but so be it.
It's got a cool mechanic that I hated at first but grew to like as a sandbox game. That being the "be anyone/recruitment" system. It's a really good idea but it baffles me that they decided to do it for Watch Dogs 3.
If they were to continue with this style of gameplay, I'd want them to go ALL in. Make this super role playable. I wanna hang out with my fellow operatives for pub crawls, develop friendships, etc. That said, I think this should be a spin-off series, not the future for Watch Dogs.
For Watch Dogs, I'd prefer we go to a singular protagonist. Because Watch Dogs 2 is a much better game, that said, Legion is a good game. It's a fun, unique experience but as a sequel to Watch Dogs 2.. it's bad. Not amazing, not great, but good. Things like the story, voice acting, open world activities and the hand-to-hand combat NEED improvements. The story needs to feel more important, the voice acting needs to sound more natural and less robotic, the open world needs more variety (this is an issue with all modern Ubisoft games) and the hand-to-hand combat would be fantastic with a system like what Dennis Opel was working on for Bully, OR Ubisoft could (and should) take inspiration from the best brawling games ever made.. the Yakuza series.
