Amazing how much 3D graphics can do for After Burner's legibility. The sense of speed is a head rush and the feature-unlock system is sweet. One of the great works of SEGA's late-arcade golden age.
I'm still waiting for this to get remastered and released the arcade version was the only reason to be in your 20's and take your nephew to Chuck E Cheese

Playing this on an arcade when you are a child really hits you. Feeling like a literal military pilot is really fun.
