This is actually a good addition to the main game, which drastically expands the lore and makes Daud one of the best characters in the series.
The locations are as atmospheric as in the original, and it was really cool to see a whale alive. Things like this make me appreciate this DLC more, 'cause I really love the world of Dishonored, and every little piece of fan service satisfies me a lot.
The new abilities are fun to use, especially the blink. It's just thousand times better than the one that Corvo has, just trust me.
The chaos system here is as frustrating as in the main game, but for some reason it seems less... annoying? I don't know, maybe it just seems more authentic here, though the gameplay limitations still suck.
I love this.

A great expansion that offers more into the world of Dishonored 1 while giving you some new tools at your disposal. The only thing holding this back is a somewhat mediocre story. While I enjoy Daud a lot, the plot he gets himself involved in isn’t too gripping. Still, a great expansion that gives you more of what you wanted from Dishonored 1.
Review EN/PTBR
A well-made dlc expanding the story of an already well-known character and giving good variety in the gameplay with different spells, unfortunately it is a very short dlc.

Uma dlc bem feita expandido a história de um personagem já muito bem conhecido e dando uma variedade boa na gameplay com magias diferentes, tristemente ela é uma dlc bem curta.

A DLC that actually takes the base concept, adds its tweaks , and runs away with it? Yes please. And thats just on the gameplay side. Ofcourse dishonored's gameplay is a ton of fun , with a lot of options and choices in a very well composed, small sandbox. Daud controls quite well and the abilities complement each other well just like the base game.
But the story, as was the case earlier, is what shines. To play as the character that put into motion all the craziness, the one you are driven to really hate as corvo, adds a huge amount of nuance and depth to the story. The almost detective like aspect of having to figure out what and who 'delilah' is, daud's story is quite engaging and entertaining.
A great game , followed by a fun couple of DLCs, dishonored is an easy sell. All of it.

God the intro cutscene of the first level where you're leaping and blinking as Daud along with his band of assassins goes so hard. Also, Daud is probably my favorite character in D1, a perfect blend of being sympathetic enough to have morals and feel bad for some of his actions, but can be as destructive as needed when the money is right.
Unfortunately my main downside with this DLC was the inconsistent level quality. Level 1 was awesome. 2 was alright. 3 was really rough and 4 was also alright. When you've only got 4 levels to show, you'd think you'd want to pull out all of the stops for this!
Regardless, love Daud and loved seeing more of the Outsider. Badass characters.

It's more of Dishonored. That's always a good thing. I found the missions very short but neat in their own way.
My biggest problem with it was the AI. I had the feeling the enemies walked pretty random sometimes and just sort of popped into existence while I was walking through a door. This happened to me like 25 times but has never happened to me in Dishonored 1 or 2.
I'm not the biggest DLC guy so this was one of my first experiences.
But still overall great expansion.
