this was my getting over it. also one of my first indie games?

classic 3ds indie game, this shit got me to start playing indie games in the first place, so it's very important to me

There's nothing really inherently wrong mechanically with the game other than the fact its just... boring. The music is boring, the platforming is boring, the enemies all die in like 2-3 hits. The whole gimmick this game is based off of isn't even used to its max potential. What I expecially don't like is that powerups must be equipped manually, why not just have them all for going out of your way to collect everything? It seems so tedious to run back and forth just because you don't have the powerup needed to access the secret variant of the level.
Yeah just ignore this one

One of those games that I played because people simped for it a bunch randomly online then.... it was just very generic? Nothing particularly wrong with it, just absolutely nothing special about it either to warrant spending your time on it.

generic? yes. but nostalgia is one hell of a drug

I really enjoy the gameplay mechanic of flipping between the background and the foreground and how it feels on the 3DS. The art is also pretty neat. The platforming can be a little wonky in my opinion, however, and that does hurt it a bit for me.

A personal indie classic of mine. I've bought this on nearly every system it came out on. Super cheap, not very long, and really fun to complete. Underrated

Simple and effective platforming. Had a good time playing it.

really mid platformer. but like, not even in an insulting way. it was kinda just awfully mid, it's worth checking out if you're interested but it's really just average in the end, it is solid and that's all it is

I got stuck early on and had no clue where to go. Something about Mutant Mudds' atmosphere makes me uncomfortable.

This game is literally a void wrapped up in nothingness
