northeastern ohio through the lens of someone not from there which is rlly fascinating to me..theresa duncan creates an image of a place altogether foreign to her in the same way the children in the story dream of nyc or paris. it does not need or even want to be realistic in any sense. it’s a vague impression of how a place like cortland might look and sound and it’s place that’s altogether inspired by and created by a collection of artists from all over america,, that’s cute !

Loved the scene where she woke up, grabbed a brush and put makeup on. Too bad she left the keys on the table, though
