fun until it isn't - a little too mechanic in the way that a clock or a calendar is. i'd like to play path of radiance

Well, I finally finished the game’s main campaign. I followed the Claude (or Golden Deer) route that seemed the most appropriate and I didn’t regret it one bit. I can say that among the 3 endings that the game shows, Claude’s appears to be the most complete and without a doubt the most satisfying for both Fodlan and Byleth.

The game’s characters are all very unique and full of individualism. It’s impressive how you can see every type of personality within a game with less than 50 hours of gameplay on average; it’s absurd how unique each character is and its development. I feel like it’s a shame that I can’t fully explore the character of the other houses without being part of them; that would certainly please me more, but I understand the studio’s strategy in encouraging the player to follow other routes, so not only does their knowledge about the other characters but also what it could have been like for you to support the other side.

Speaking of Claude’s route, I’m a little sad about the ending of the characters from the other houses. I don’t know if it’s like that in the other routes, but the fact that they canonically die in battles after the timeskip (with the exception of a few), unless you recruit them to your side, is quite sad. I was saddened by many deaths because I knew that that result was just a matter of a single choice at the beginning of the game and that they would have been in your team’s place supporting you if you had chosen them.

The story and plot of the game are quite interesting. I would say that the biggest plot twist is without a doubt the fact that the academy traitor is Edelgard. I was a little surprised by her being the enemy. Although I haven’t ventured into her route yet to understand her motivations in depth, but from what I saw of Claude’s route, her goals were VERY similar and she appears to have a similar background to Lysithea, which makes her even more of an interesting character. I would say that among the 3 leaders, Edelgard is without a doubt the one who appears to be the most interesting. As for Dimitri, I’m sad about the situation he ended up in. Mad with revenge and killed by spears, even the characters found his death sad and brutal, but an unavoidable fate for those driven by revenge.

As it was my first tactical RPG, I had a little difficulty at first, but nothing that stopped me; after all, it’s still an RPG. All you need to know is when to attack and retreat, as well as knowing how to use buffs, healing, and knowing how to choose character classes well.

Well, overall the game has some basic problems like graphics that look like they came from a PS3, the story seems to be a bit slow at times but nothing too absurd.

All in all, it’s a good game; my rating would probably be higher if I had played the 3 other routes.

i can't finish bc i don't want to story to end. see you at the next tea party.

I feel very normal for (adult) Dimitri.

originally played because i liked byleth in smash bros, this game is art.

J'ai fait la route de Dimitri en premier

This game has one of the more enchanting settings in Fire Emblem, but I just couldn't get through it. I'm sure the social stuff clicks with a lot of people, but it's not for me, and you'll spend more time in this game reading, teaching classes, and fetching gifts for people than actually doing meat-and-potatoes Fire Emblem stuff. Maybe one day I'll return just to wrap up the story.

This was my introduction to the Fire Emblem series and SRPGs and I can say this was such an enjoyable time for me. I'm always cautious of games that try to manage a lot of characters and although this game is by no means an exception to that as some characters are far less interesting than others, there are more positives than negatives in that regard. The amazing story and my time with the students customizing classes and testing different party strategies far outweigh the fairly repetitive map designs and by the end of every story, the flaws never really bothered me or impacted my experience in any way.

Eu conseguiria passar o dia inteiro falando sobre Three houses, mas para resumir eu diria que esse jogo é a porta de entrada perfeita para qualquer um que tenha interesse em se aventurar na série

Being the only Fire Emblem game I've played I have no idea how this compares to other games in the series. But being a persona fan I loved the borrowed time mechanics. The story really isn't anything special and I have issues with how completely abrupt the endings are. The students are really where the game shines, and suprisingly, the lore is really interesting and cool.

In terms of story, conversations, relationships with the characters the game is outstanding.

The gameplay does not seem to me the best, it is entertaining, but other games in the series is better in that aspect as engage.

However, the main flaw in my opinion are the routes. They are differentiated, but after a certain point and to be able to play all of them you have to see practically the same thing (they change 4 counted dialogues) about three times. I wish there was an option to skip that part.

Other than that, I think it's one of the best modern fire emblem games we have in the saga.

I liked it a lot, emphasis Liked. I have mixed feels about some of the game play, and unfortunately that gameplay bogs down trying to replay the game for alternative story routes.

I cannot fathom why the route split is at the start of the game but doesn't truly go into effect until HALF-WAY THROUGH THE GAME. You have to replay the first half of the game 3 separate times in order to get the other story paths. That is insane. I played Golden Deer. I like Lysithea. Bernie is funny. That's all I can say because the rest of the game is locked off behind 12 chapters of retreads. Maybe I would be Ok with this if the game wasn't ugly as sin.

this game came out 5 years ago and ive probably thought about it at least once every day for the past 5 years its genuinely insane how much of an impact ts had on me

Story is awesome and characters are cool but some animation kinda sucks

just played nothing but this game for a week straight, [picked golden deer]. and it was very very fun.

i think this game was a little too ambitious with all the stuff you can do, as its a little overwhelming.. [especially with the next game, engage, being a lot simpler].

all of my problems are just tiny things that are annoying over time, [weapon durability and how the level up screen pops up SUPER often and takes like 5 seconds, istg by the end of the game i wasted an HOUR just because of those screens..]

very very fun, can recommend, especially [prepare for a niche group of people that i happen to fall under..] for people who want to get into the series, and have played the persona games.

"I have been dead, more or less..."

A touching game with an emotional story and a lovable cast, my first play through was Blue Lions, and I loved it. Dimitri's development is incredible, and as someone who also always wanted to help people, the feeling of hopelessness and being powerless really makes you bitter and hateful. That's why I resonated so much with Dimitri; he's the nicest guy who just wants to help, but life doesn't make that easy. That's why you get so angry, and it's so easy to stop smiling.

Claude is the sanest of the three main characters. I also resonate with him, but not that much. Still, he's lovable and literally wants to end racism.

Edelgard... well, I hate her and won't ever play her route; I refuse.

The story is good but Fire emblem Engage has a better gameplay.
If you combine this story with a good gameplay like the Engage one, it could be the best in the series.

Fire Emblem Two Important Houses And Also Claude Is There I Guess

My favourite Fire Emblem. Like Echoes, the characters and story really carry the experience rather then the gameplay but it doesn't matter when the cast is this good. #BlueLionsSweep
