Still abysmal, and I loved it even more!

It seems like DICE is back to basics if you look at this game and the release state of Battlefield 2042.

Other than that, it's just a bad game on all fronts, and what's worse, it uses the original material completely ineptly.

Shrek Extra Large is a mediocre platformer cashing in on the movie's popularity. Its levels feel bland and uninspired, with repetitive tasks and frustrating platforming sections. The combat is simplistic, the humor falls flat, and the visuals are unimpressive even for the GameCube's standards. While it has some short-lived charm for younger Shrek fans, most players will find Shrek Extra Large to be a tedious and unsatisfying experience.
