The purple pants wearing goliath is a bit weak in this one. The plot of this game was dreamt up by the staff of Mean Machines magazine, and all I can say is they must never have read an actual Hulk comic before. Perhaps they were thinking of the Bixby/Ferrigno series? Seriously, why is it impossible to even destroy a wooden box? This is supposed to be The Hulk! A game decidely lacking in Gamma power.

Love a game where you play as the Hulk, this rampaging unstopabble monster who can trample anything on his path.
This is not it, this was just constantly getting stunlocked by guys with guns.

Really don't like his tongue on the box art here. Is it usually colored green? Put that thing away.

The game itself isn't so great either. Looks really garish and it's hard to ease into due to Hulk's predictably sized hitbox in tandem with irritating enemy placement. The music is pretty funky though, not very fitting but definitely one of the more memorable aspects. Certainly doesn't carry the game up any notches though, and thus it is still thoroughly subpar.

I fully admit, this rating is based on childhood enjoyment. I freaking loved this game though. Bruce Banner is actually useful!
