Everything with Aiden and Wrench in this DLC was awesome. Everything with Wrench, unfortunately, was not. Wrench's role in the story started out as something cool but eventually he overstayed his welcome and the rest of his story was not very good. The DLC did fix some issues with Legion's core game design and gameplay, but a few issues still remain. Still, it's still a vast improvement from the base game and actually makes playing Watchdogs Legion kinda fun. I enjoyed my time with this one and how they closed out Aiden's arc. Jackson was also a surprisingly well-written character I found myself liking. The whole thing is a love letter to the series, for better and for worse. For worse only when it's being nice to Watchdogs 2.

I mean, it's more Watch Dogs: Legion—now with fan service and without the one thing that sets Legion apart from the other games!

Seriously, though, this is a really sweet and fun full-circle moment for all three games, providing some closure to the cast and fans of the Watch Dogs games in a way that feels natural and succinct in its narrative and isn't just used as an excuse to give you the crossover episode of your dreams (if you're a fan of these).

Bloodline takes things back to basics in a lot of ways, playing much like an enhanced version of the first game. I already said that about the gameplay of the base game, but Bloodline really brings that home, anchored by Aiden being one of the lead protagonists. Wrench is also along for the ride, and between them, they have a couple of new abilities and mechanics that spice up gameplay a bit, particularly where combat is concerned, but otherwise, this is your bog-standard mission pack DLC.

But again, unlike Bad Blood, I'm completely fine with Bloodlines being a mission pack DLC given how much more I liked its story and writing than the base game and how much better playing as Aiden and Wrench felt than most of the base game's bevy of RNG citizens.

That said, the story doesn't really stick the landing with its ending, leaving things somewhat ambiguous and the fact that Aiden and Wrench also appear as optional DedSec recruits in the base game also somewhat undermines the message and themes of Bloodline, but I digress.

The side missions are also mostly meh. Wrench has 5 side missions with their own mini stories and banter, but Aiden has at least double that in the form of resistance missions that are just generic objectives with minimal story incentive.

Still, it ain't enough to squander the whole experience and Bloodlines is a fine addendum to the Watch Dogs universe with some great, tasteful fan service and closure to its characters and story arcs.

7.5/10

Refuse to review watch dogs legion, but watch dogs legion bloodline however was great. I wish this was the main story over whatever the hell the main story was.
Aiden and wrench working together is fantastic or maybe because they are actually two characters and not a random nobody like the main game they feel fantastic.
Aiden is epic, Wrench is Epic, and Jackson is almost epic.

melhor que o jogo original fodfase

WTF ACTUAL GOOD WRITING IN A UBISOFT GAME??? HUUUUUUUUH???? this is better than the actual game as well lol

Plusy: lepsza kampania niż w podstawce, konkluzja do historii Aidena, nowy dron
Minusy: duży recykling miejscówek, wydłużenie gry poprzez ponowne odblokowywanie perków

Maravilhoso, devia ser o jogo base

This story was way better than the base game. Finally some personality was back in the storytelling. Probably one of the best missions in the whole series with the house from the original game.
The side missions were however really boring and were basically copy and paste open world activities which I had already done in the base game.
Overall, a very enjoyable few hours with some mixups in gameplay and an interesting narrative.

A expansão que mostra como o Legion foi um fracasso, descartar um personagem foi o maior tiro do pé do jogo principal

What the fuck? Why is this actually good??

Better than the main game, this is what the whole game should’ve been (except add some depth and stretch the story out)

The reason why I think this should’ve been the 3rd game is coz it links the first 2 together, it could’ve been a huge climactic moment for the series but Ubisoft was so busy with its “look at this amazing game where you can play as anyone in the world” that they just forgot about what works about watch dogs

This was really fun, just too short, I enjoyed the dynamic between Wrench and Aidan, and I love Wrench as a character so I was just glad to see him back. Gameplay wise it’s not much, it’s basically the same as it always is, less hacking tho which is strange. But both characters are fun to play as, and while the story is short I did enjoy my time with it

O vilão deixa um pouco a desejar mas fora isso jogar com o Aiden e o Wrench é bem divertido. Tem um bug que pode fazer suas teclas pararem de funcionar por um tempo o que aconteceu comigo no jogo base e na dlc várias vezes.

The only reason I bought WD: Legion is because a) it came with the complete edition of WD1 and b) it had bloodlines. I haven't spent a second in the main game, but bloodline is fantastic, and while I understand that Aiden's story was essentially concluded in 1, Watch Dogs 2 having nothing to do with him was disappointing because he's badass.

Back on topic though, bloodline is Watch Dogs: All Stars. You get to see grown-up Jackson, you get to play as Aiden, you get to play as Wrench and you get to see ALL THREE interact with each other. It's pretty nice. If you needed a little bit more WD1, here's it.

was tearing up through aidens ending a little ngl. really love how they handled both aiden and wrench here in a way that connects them and gives us a pretty end to aidens legacy

i do dislike how this plays out if you keep playing as him in the main story but i dunno about that really, i'd rather they keep this ending and risk that ig

only downside is jackson looks like a jackass
