This is still the weirdest game to me. The "My Nintendo Picross" title suggests that this was going to be a larger series of themed picross games, but the only one they made was a loose tie in with the Twilight Princess remaster. It was also the only game exclusive to the My Nintendo program, so if you wanted to use your rewards points for anything before the Switch era, it was either this or like a 10% discount on the Wii U eshop version of Papar Mario or something.

It's still picross so it's good, though.

A game I claimed with My Nintendo Platinum Coins before the eShop closed. This is one of the better Picross games I have played. Cool images from Twilight Princess and a great guide system and explanation of the Mega Picross.

picross babyyy
this was my first picross game and it spawned a deep puzzle obsession that i've never been able to shake. thanks nintendo

The only Picross game I ever played and I actually kinda liked it!

Fun enough with a bit of recycled content

I understand that it's free but you could've at least packed a couple more squares in here

I binged these puzzles like a ravenous animal that hasn't found game in weeks

This is probably the best Zelda game.

WTF is with the banner screenshot for this, backloggd

I saw Elkin beat this a month or so ago and it made me wanna finally try and have a go at beating it. It's really fun! It's a great little Picross game. It's a Picross game you can get for (effectively) free on the My Nintendo awards program, and it's got 45 normal Picross puzzles, 45 of the same pictures but in a "Mega Picross" mode, where the order of the puzzles is changed and a new mode of solving is introduced. In Mega Picross, there are new number-indicators that span two rows or columns indicating an unbroken series of blocks located in that column. Even playing Mega Picross right after the normal Picross, the same pictures were totally new puzzles in how you have to totally retrain your brain on how to Picross to even solve them. There's also a Micross mode, where you do a bunch of little puzzles that make up a very large picture.

Verdict: Highly Recommended. It's a free game (effectively), and it's a great little time-waster on your 3DS if you want more Picross than just Pokemon Picross and don't wanna spend the cash on something like Mario Picross on the VC. It's as great a puzzle game as it's ever been, and this package ain't a bad for the entry fee :D

It's a Zelda-themed picross game.

I love Picross games, so this was a nice little play through.

I love picross, I like twilight princess from what I remember playing of it so this sure is a very good game and also one of the weirdest games in my 3ds library

The fact I enjoy these games speaks to my slowly deteriorating mental state.

I really enjoy Picross type games. Soo much so that to validate myself in this review I must note that I have played over 10000 serparte levels on a single mobile app for these such puzzles. I simply enjoy the easy to grasp yet distracting nature of these games; and My Nintendo Picross TP does a fantastic job at porting those puzzles into a themed and accessible game. Particularly, outside of simply making another Picross game I would like to bring attention to some mechanics of this game that I had yet to see and quite enjoyed. This firstly being the addition of a clock system, compared to a traditional strick system. Wherein incorrect guesses for blocks work in a compounding manner to add time to said clock. Wherein apon the clock reaching a time of one hour or higher the level is not counted apon completion. Personally, I belive this addition to substaintally improve the enjoyabilty of each puzzle, as it forces me to be carfull about my decisions, but not as scared as I would be upon reaching the final strike in a traditional setting. As Well with this, and I am aware that such is not new, I really enjoyed how the larger puzzle was slowly unlocked via completion of the other main levels; kinda turing the whole game into a journy of sort. Overall making the game feel like a complete and tied in experience.
(P.S. I loved the detail of particals coming off of blocks you colour in, to make the puzzle feel as if you where carving in a drawing. Very cool)

A great Picross game to play before going to bed. I never got into Picross until this year, mostly because I just didn't understand the concept. This was a blast, full of Zelda iconography and music as well as challenging puzzles.

A very basic game, it feels like it was put together very quickly and without much effort, but its still picross, it has zelda, and its fun. its a shame its been lost to time.

A game I have in fact played!

Ok, it's just Picross, but I am an enjoyer of both Picross and Twilight Princess. A solid combination. The Mega Picross puzzles are an interesting twist. And the massive Micross puzzle was fun to complete too, though I wish there were more. For a free game (with 1000 Platinum points), a good time. Something fun to just open up and play a puzzle or two here and there.

Very much content for a basically free game. Really enjoyed playing it with the amazing music of Twilight Princess.

A little too little for my taste (I'm picross obsessed) but for what it is, and being free and all, this is great. I love putting my silver points to good use, I downloaded rumble before it died just to get points for this

(Original review from 2016) Weirdly addicting, I had to get my roommate to take my 3DS away so I'd stop trying to solve the puzzles. Good hand-holding options if you need some assistance seeing where there are openings. Repetitive music gets repetitive.

It is what it is. Solid Picross and no glitches in sight. It was free and I got it with coins so it was considered exclusive, so that's pretty cool. But, I wish they added more content with pictures, it got tiring doing the same pictures over and over again. They should've made more Mega Crosses.
