I really enjoyed the plot and want to explore other branches and character arcs, but the Rite gameplay isn't really my cup of tea so I guess I'll look them up on YouTube or something.
Otherwise great game, with good art direction, dialogue, UI and soundtrack, I really do recommend at least one playthrough.

¿Cómo desarrolla a esos personajes?
For some reason, after being a big fan of Transistor and Bastion, I totally skipped playing Pyre. I guess I heard that it was more of a sports game than a RPG, and thought it wasn't for me.
Oh boy, was I wrong. The game is divided in essentially 3 phases: travelling to encounters, interacting with party members in a visual-novel style, and tactical "combat" which is really just fantasy 3-player basketball. And all of these phases are lovely in their own way. Travelling is visually beautiful, the NPCs are wonderful and masterfully written, and the tactical combat is original and really, really fun. There is a bit of a learning curve, especially in the later-game combats, if you tend to be more of a tank than a tactician, like I am, but overall it's just a blast.
I did not give the game 5 stars because I feel like it's lacking something I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe more meaningful interactions with the NPCs? But really, it's a lovely game.

Rugby Quidditch Basketball is pretty fun, especially with the added depth of the skill trees and team building. Combine that with that supergiant soul in the form of beautiful art, great music, and an enchanting story and you've got yourself a great time. May the Scribes bless Ti'zo, Dalbert, and Manley.
It's a lot of fun ye. I think it's gameplay loops such as the fantasy basketball section with the progression/resource management systems being tied around it are all done incredibly well and the visual novel section that does the main bulk of the storytelling, lore and worldbuilding is also really engaging and does a good job at driving the stakes of the main basketball section. I hope a sequel would come out, i'm excited to see what they could do more on this gameplay premise.
I highly enjoyed my time with Pyre! The Sports RPG aspect of it was great. In a normal Sports simulation game you care about your players to an extent, but not really. You never really have meaningful talks with them. However, the conversations you have with your teammates are an engaging way of building bonds with these people. You get to know their struggles and such! In Pyre, you are on a journey out of exile with your teammates. So you feel that connection even through that! You actually care about the team!
The sports part is fun and engaging. It took a bit to wrap my head around, but when you understand the strategy and tactics of it, it gets more involved and entertaining. The environments you travel to are beautiful to look at and are diverse in their atmosphere! Great art attached to them as well!
Pyre is a grand trip that I enjoyed my time with heavily!

The music, characters, story and world of Pyre are all fantastic. That alone makes the game worth playing. However, I found the actual gameplay to be less so. You're basically playing fantasy football where each character has their own abilities to give you an advantage. There isn't much of it since the game focuses more on lore about the world and it's characters than playing football, but I didn't really care for it. Overall it was enjoyable enough but not my favorite from Super Giant.
Easily Supergiant’s best release. An excellent story that makes the quick but fun gameplay sections all the more tense as you fight for your friends’ freedom. Letting the story progress even if you lose matches is a great decision that heightens already great sections. You won’t find any game quite like this anywhere
I like this game a decent amount. The gameplay is pretty rewarding and the game is actually gorgeous. All the art in the game is great, which makes it fun to see what’s next. The music is great too. The story was also fun too. I loved the amount of choice in the game and how it allows the player to lose some characters.
Pyre is an unusual game. Half visual-novel, half sports-game, it combines two genres that I generally don't play or like. And yet, I really enjoyed my time with Pyre! It managed to keep me engaged with the plot, and the team-based matches were surprisingly fun to complete.
Has to be said: The visuals are fantastic.
