The Xbox 360/PS3 version is the last Madden game to feature create-a-team. It's a good feature, but it doesn't really make up for what the rest of the game is lacking.
Fans are also sometimes nostalgic for this game's Franchise mode, the last before the XP system. I actually find this to be one of the worst Franchise modes due to the menu system. It's pretty bare visually and all the menus are hidden behind this unintuitive tab system. Because it's a chore to navigate, I found myself less inclined to do anything in Franchise but play the games.
The phsyics-based gameplay is decent enough, but it gets refined and improved two years later in Madden 25. If you're looking for a PS3/360 Madden, this is fine, but I find it hard to recommend this one due to its the Franchise mode.

I just don't remember too much about this game. Gameplay is fine and I think it was the last serviceable Madden before the dark times
Fine madden game. Don't remember anything special about it. For some reason I got all the achievements.
