sorry but 10 seconds into the game im shown an annoying high pitched voice critter and an unnecessary + uncomfortable exchange between phi and sigma about her thighs and going up a fucking elevator hatch

this is like the best utilization of the video game medium in a story. some story moments are stupid but it's made up for by having amazing story moments

A wonderful game with fantastic writing across the board, but one that gets deeply sabotaged by its terrible budget resulting in extremely ugly models/environments, and an abysmal first hour that is SUPER off putting. In spite of this I'm still giving it a 10/10. An extremely worthwhile sequel to 999, albeit not surpassing it at least for me. Sigma and Phi are so awesome

wow this game was so good i sure wish they made a sequel

Game promised a lot but ZTD didn't deliver so I feel it's a weaker and less complete experience than 999 unfortunately. Still a very enjoyable game with some very strong concepts

i liked it. horrible graphics, horrible animations, lovely ideas and writing as always. doesnt take itself too seriously which is such an important staple for zero escape it seems. I love K and luna. again, zero escape is a series thats as if i was the ideal consumer, so id be forced to give it a 10/10 despite its flaws if it wasnt for the absolutely godawful graphics

i think that centrism is the life for me after all!

The 3D models are kind of hard to get over. But it's still a Zero Escape game. Tons of effort all around.

On the other hand... The main character is named Sigma. We know the size of his cock, but not Seven's real name. Isn't that fucked?

KONO DIO DA

Se me hizo algo repetitivo tanta ruta, pero joder vaya final, valió la pena

yeahhhhh cut off his hand yeahhhhhh

This game is absolutely insane.

This was one I really had to digest for a while after beating it. This is maybe the most exhausting game I have ever played and thought about. There is so much info, so much sci-fi nonsense, so many twists, that after playing I didn't think I liked it very much. Now that it has sat with me, I have an unbelievable amount of respect for this game, and all the crazy ideas it had, even if there are plenty of plot holes and weak justifications. This game makes 999 seem like a grounded, realistic story

história incrível, mas por que 3d?

People need to understand that bullshit writing isn't just not inherently bad, it's an artform that can be practiced and perfected. Uchikoshi is a painter and you are his canvas

Great journey and gamplay brought up further by a truly fantastic final ~20%. Luna is the goat.

VLR pushes the limit of what a visual novel can acompolish using the branching narrative structure, with an amazing story and likeable character this game gets 5 stars

not as good as the first one

This game is very interesting. It manages to create a problem that's happening inside a place and the scope of its story starts delimited by the amazing Nonary Game: Ambidex Edition that's going on. But then the story reaches a point where you realize what's going on, and you think "oh man I get it, I understand everything" but you actually DON'T UNDERSTAND SHIT cause you are completely clueless about the absolute buffoonery that's actually going on. There's so many layers that this game expands and breaks and that's so ridiculously amazing. It took me like 30 hours to get every ending of this game and it was incredible, I had a blast...

...I had a blast until I got Akane's ending, and went to the flowchart of the story and thought "Maaan I'm about to finish this, let's see where this continues...". Yeah, that instant when I just realized the story didn't actually end on this game... man I had never felt like that finishing a game up to this point.

I have to admit, this game is flawless. The story is so incredibly convoluted and well crafted that my head almost exploded when I was about to reach the true ending. I loved every character, I loved the OST, and I just had more than 30 hours of peak gaming. That was until that moment I just mentioned. That's not an actual issue of the game, but yeah, my experience was my experience, and I gotta admit it was definitely damaged by that ending. I don't even know if I'll play Zero Time Dilemma cause I've heard that game sucks, but man I'm also dying to know how the best story I've ever played in gaming is going to end. WHAT AM I GONNA DO!?

el mejor personaje d este juego es quark btw MENTIRA ES LUNA TE AMO LUNAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

My least favorite of the trilogy. Never grew very attached to any of the cast, some of the twists felt very forced, and the game is not fun to look at. Still has some memorable moments and fun interactions.

nunca te fíes de las putas contraseñas

Maybe the best visual novel Ive ever played and also the first Ive ever replayed in it's entirety, fell in love with the characters and hopeless situation it presented, all the puzzles are sharply designed with excellent voice acting and script, keeps you engaged from start to finish. Loved the music and twists in the story as well

Virtues last reward is the improved sequel to 999. I think they really improved in every way here besides maybe some of the characters. I like the story a bit more and the twists are pretty good. I don't know if i'll play the third game but maybe some day. 8/10

Reviewing every game i've fully completed #35

Ei niin hyvä kun 999 mut ihan palveleva jatko osa vaiks grafiikat kyl on aika kamalii mut ite ei haitannut

Is it as good as 999? No. In almost every area, no. But it's still a great time. Except for two things: Those character models never get easier on the eyes. And the dice.

La historia está muy guapa pero deja sin resolver la mayor pregunta sobre el juego: ¿por qué hicieron unos diseños tan guapos y posteriormente hicieron modelos 3D tan feos?

Yeah, this is the wildest fucking plot in any game I've ever played. It goes in every direction possible and somehow lands.
