games where my first impressions weren't too positive but the game grew on me and ended up enjoying it

The biggest one on this list. I had just cane fresh from P5 which was my first Megaten, and coming from that game to this game the change felt kinda weird. The gameplay was boring at first but got more fun as it progressed, and by the end I liked it more than P5
I was just bad at the game and also made my control scheme intolerable
Read Celeste, minus the controls and add that I beat the Pachinko machine without a game over ;)
