MAAAAN, that's the kind of thing I needed last year!
Dude made the game alone, along with help of a mocap and EDM artist.
The soundtrack is absolutely badass, and the violence along with it.
The game is a beautiful mix of Hotline Miami and Arkham games.
The combat is so satisfying and so are the finishers, you can throw guns, weapons, etc after you used them, and a lot of blood/bodies on the ground showing the carnage you went through.
Of course some levels are gimmicky or can get annoying, but man this indie game is just a blast of fun. Definitely recommend

It's a very fun experience and Nolan North does an amazing job voicing Wade.

A remake of DOA2 that came out after 3. So the gameplay is slower than 3 sadly but the rest? Just amazing. The game have the boss as a playable character, Hitomi if you have a doa3 save. The game uses the og xbox's power for these amazing visuals for its time. Even you'd be surprised.
I never seen a 3D fighting game with such detailed stages, they're big and have many layers! You can fall on so many locations, and you can notice such impressive details on them.
They made like 5 versions of one stage just for the boss fight that has the ability to change the season and scenery of the stage.
Anyways, a shame the xbox live doesn't work on it no more, because it's an amazing 3D fighting game, with satisfying gameplay, animations and pretty visuals.

Possibly one of the best from the franchise (Sorry Burnout 3 fans). Especially the 360 version that gives me this huge sense of speed. There are races, roadrage, crashbreaker, crash missions, it's just so much fun... even someone that doesn't play racing games will love it!

Cool levels, cool graphics, cool soundtrack, funny. What to ask more?

Masterpiece is finding out there are other sports available than just swordplay 😯

This destroy all of the DS and the 3DS games alone

2003

I just discovered it recently, and it is amazing.
The tracks are so fun and well designed, they're also impressive to look at. It's made with a lot of exaggeration on jumps, ramps, and events on the tracks. For real if you just want to have fun go for it

I'd have given 4 stars but the framerate just not it. The best version is on XB Series
For me that's where they did modern Sonic levels just right. Not too easy, not too short and not being 99% 2.5D sections.
Eggmanland was the challenge I wished for so long in a Modern Sonic game.
Since people complained about those in Unleashed, we got the results in later games (Generations, Forces, Cyberspace) where the levels are just ridiculously easy and short ( you can finish them under 1min or less), and since Sonic Team didn't wanted to try new things anymore, we're stuck with the same re-used levels.
In Unleashed, the levels and their environment is really varied, and colorful. The level design of the modern stages are reallyfun and engaging with a good mix of 3D and 2.5D.

Wherehog is just fine, a god of war clone, but some parts in his levels are questionable (mostly when it comes to platforming). I can't really recommend it with that kind of framerate. Definitely go for the next gen version.
I also like the fact they made those level longer and you just chilling doing them. Though the music getting cut off because of fights can be very frustrating.

Also the game has cool hubs and you can unlock secret levels !

In short, that's one of the most complete and fun (but sometimes frustrating) Modern Sonic game you can experience (by modern I mean ps3/360 gen and higher).

One of the best Action/Adventure game of its generation.
With 16:9 support, 60fps, impressive graphics and a really smooth combat. It's a masterpiece as a video-game and also as a technical piece.

It adds a lot to the 2004 version, and each difficulty is different when it's about the placement of ennemies, new spawns, the order of unlockables, the price of items in the shop so you need to manage your money well, and new bosses!
They also added a mission mode outside of the stoy mode, you can finish challenges and such, and unlock a new costume.

Even though I call it a masterpiece, its main problem is still the camera. It's not horrible, but it's not good either. You will need and have to learn how to use it properly through the game.

Don't wait, it's available on every Xbox gen possible.

One of the most overrated game I've played.
It was "ok" for me. The gameplay straight up sucks, and feels bad. It mostly relies on easy parries and backstabs.
The exploration and level design is fun though (besides the swamp, man, this + the sh#t gameplay? Nah).
I also enjoyed the boss fights and their soundtrack, so I was expecting too much for the final boss that was complete garbage. All of that "excused" with lore to explain why the final bossfight is garbage and FromSo devotees telling you how much a masterpiece and genius ending that is, while it's just bullsh#t

I didn't have a bad time, but there are some problems that need to be pointed out.
Story is well written, and the development of the characters was good, but oh man oh man the pacing of it in the first half of the game was pretty slow. Also I don't like the fact that even in modern days, we still force you to walk for listening the dialogue.
Now apart from the story, the biggest part for me that I need to talk about. The gameplay.
First of all, it's in the era where we implement useless RPG mechanics in whatever franchise that didn't initially have them. It's annoying on higher difficulty that it also relies on that a lot, I don't play GoW for that part.
Also, even though it can be forgiven, I'm not fan of the camera. It's good for that cinematic experience, during exploration and such. But during combat ? I don't feel comfortable with it, its FOV is too close.
I didn't like the Crowd control either, ESPECIALLY with the first weapon, it gets a little bit better when you get a certain second weapon. But the gameplay along with the cam is just not that good for combat with more than 3 enemies, I mean yeah okay they have Atreus and the little arrows to yell at you when something is coming from behind, but that's just a lazy solution from the devs.
I'm a bit critic about the gameplay but it's not entirely bad, the feel of impact from the weapon and animations are really great.

Really solid. I know camera can be a big issue. But once you master it, it's fine.
A really amazing action adventure game with little puzzles elements, platforming and well..action. The atmosphere with how the levels looks and the soundtrack is a really good combination. The gameplay is one of the most smooth and fast you could get back in its time.
Technically, the game is also impressive for its console. 16:9 display and 60fps, amazing CGI cutscenes, and graphically really good.
