This was my First "Tales of" game, and the one I was most interested for a long time.

The plot of the game is one I engaged right away with the sudden bad turn in Velvet's life, making her from a sweet caring sister, into a vengeful angry person with just Revenge on her mind. I loved how she changes through a slow pace development, still without changing her mind on her main objective, as she connects in her own way with the rest of the cast. Whose are a bunch of misfits with their own reason for following her, instead of actually being her friends(most of them) I loved how their dynamic evolves close through friendship in it's own way.
Is a bittersweet story, making me laugh and cry tons of times, more with how much I ended loving Velvet. I really want her to be happy. Even after finishing the game, I was affected with the ending, it was perfect for this game.
The combat is fun, with the Break soul being a powerful yet balanced dynamic that requires practice in high difficulties, is awesome reach to dominate each character and unlock more artes.
It's also full of extra content, practically a love letter to tge 20 years of the series, specially with lore and world building.

I actually consider it one of my favorites games of all time, really can't stop reccomending it enough, as well thinking about Velvet.

Scarlet Nexus is one of my favorites games now!

It has a very satisfying combat once you progress through the story unlocking in the Brain Skill map, and getting more SAS abilities. Yuito being better at close combat, and Kasane at range and aerial, makes it different enough for different playthrough.

The Story and Characters are really outstanding! Loved everything about it, was interesting spending time in the hideout knowing more about them, as i continued the wild ride plot to the end. Is a game i definitely reccomend, feels like playing an Anime, Manga, VN and LN!
