Shantae is a fun little platformer but I have many times become confused as to where I'm supposed to go. I need to use a guide which is a bummer. I usually don't want to use any guides but older games tend to be more complicated and less straightforward. I think that I read somewhere that it's because back in the day a lot of games lacked proper game testing, which in turn led the game to be harder and more close-minded -- meaning it might make sense to the person creating the game but not for the majority of the players.
