My favourite game in the series and favourite game of all time. Music was of my favourite in all games I've ever played, great to hear for both the first time and as nostalgia, with each track having an entirely different feel to it but a unique sound that let's you know it's from that game. I chose Platinum over Diamond and Pearl specifically because I liked the concept with Giratina as a Pokémon and the story which if I remember correctly added on to the already existing Diamond and Pearl story (I could mistaken, as I've only actually completed the Platinum story once, but went back to my old save file that I shared with my brother when I was a kid). Trading with friends and cousins was always fun and though already had each available Pokémon for the game, I was glad I got to share my rare duplicates with them. I thoroughly enjoyed the game to 100% completion and for the time being (as I will be going back and playing all my favourite games and seeing which ones I really like more), it is my favourite game of all time.

Not the best game in the series, but an enjoyable one nonetheless. I played it's story quite a few times, which, might I add, has the best story in the series in my opinion. Gameplay overall was good but had room for improvement, hence the 2 other games that followed (as of 2021).
Great to play with friends and alone, as there is plenty to do and many possibilities with the game's brawl and special modes for both solo and multiplayer gameplay

An absolute classic. I remember being introduced to the game by my next door neighbor at the time, I'd never seen anything like it. Despite the fact that I gave it a 5 star rating purely because of its nostalgia, I still think the game deserves that rating for its time. Graphics may not have been the best, but the game's mechanics are what really made it enjoyable. The game is great for all ages too, I could easily see myself picking up the game if I had discovered it today at 18 years old. Then again, that's just my opinion and I don't expect you to take my word for it, try it for yourself to be the judge!
