I desperately wish this game was in a playable state where progress could be made on Flashpoint, because the bones of this game are amazing and it genuinely makes you feel like you’re exploring the home and world of Foster’s.
A game that’s entertainment is reliant entirely on the balance. Some patches make the game incredibly entertaining and reward playtime and skill with routing turns. Other patches are the New Puppy Pack, and remove a lot of resource management and nerf almost every team in the game.
A surprising amount of depth for a cheap baseball game. Controls well, near infinite amount of content, and you can hit absolute dingers as a create-a-character.
Were it not for, surprisingly enough, the gameplay of AFK Arena being effortlessly entertaining, I would’ve probably put this game down a while ago. The world building is plentiful but none of it is interesting.
One of the most expressive fighting games to date with a roster where I find nearly every single character fun to play, a fact I cannot say about most.
The most complete a Pokémon game will ever get. Expansive world that feels the most real and intertwined with itself and a fun romp that can change every time I play it. A joy that I continue to regularly revisit.
