SUMMARY:
Every game on this pack is good. Has a standard "be funny" game, a fairly hectic co-op game, a drawing game, an improv game, and a trivia game. If you're only looking to buy one pack, this is a great candidate.

--------------------

QUIPLASH 3
You get a prompt. Someone else has the same prompt. Everyone else votes on who gave the funniest answer. Pretty much the standard-bearer for Jackbox games.

Has a somewhat better final round than Quiplash 2 - instead of trying to answer an acronym or complete a comic, you just get a prompt that you have to give a three-item answer to. This format also means you can add custom prompts to the last round, which wasn't a feature in Quiplash 2's custom prompts mode.

The claymation background when everyone is writing their prompts reminds me of the parachute from elementary school gym.

THE DEVILS AND THE DETAILS
Kind of like co-op WarioWare with a house chores theme. Or co-op Among Us tasks. Most of the gameplay takes place on the browser or phone.

You're typically working with only one other player at a time, so there's a lot of crosstalk, which adds to the hectic nature of the game.

It's pretty fun! Probably won't be a staple of your game nights, but nice for a change of pace once in awhile.

---

CHAMP'D UP
You're given a prompt in the form of a wrestling match title. You draw a character to fit that prompt and name it. Someone else is shown your character, and has to come up with a challenger without seeing the original prompt.

In the final round, you make new characters, but you can also tag in previous characters for a new fight.

Meant to be a spiritual successor to Tee K.O. I prefer Tee K.O. myself, but this is in no way a bad game. Can provide a whole different kind of laugh when you can very clearly tell who got the challenger prompt rather than the match title.

The drawing tools are also vastly improved over other Jackbox drawing games. There are separate pens for lineart and colors, meaning you can actually work in layers to a small degree. The prompts also make it a lot easier to come up with a funny drawing than in Tee K.O.

---

TALKING POINTS
Improvised TED Talks. You're given a couple subjects to choose from, written by other players. The images for your slideshow are provided in real-time by a randomly selected partner.

The scoring system is a little abstract, but I rarely pay attention to scores in Jackbox games anyway.

Can be the highlight of the entire pack if your friends are good at improv. It's a unique experience!

BLATHER ROUND
It's charades with words. You're given a subject and have very limited options to describe it to other players. Has a lower player limit than other Jackbox games, at six players + audience.

This is my favorite game in the pack, and one of the best Jackbox games in my opinion. It's fun to just patch together an absolutely ridiculous sentence that still somehow describes your prompt perfectly.

Be aware there are a lot of nuances to the game that might be non-obvious at first. For example: if you don't like your prompts, you can generate three new ones; you can use more than one word from each column; if you don't like your options when describing the prompt on your turn, you can skip to the next set of words; and if there are words underlined in the prompt, you can click those to change them.

Probably best as a wind-down game when there are less people around, because there are only six slots and the audience doesn't get to contribute much.

If you or a loved one is not from America, make sure to turn on the be-less-American mode in the settings. It will improve your life expectancy.
