Card Shark is overall a fun, unique experience with cool art style.

Halo 5 has excellent gameplay, graphics, sound design, multiplayer and even the soundtrack was pretty kick ass. However, unfortunately like many other players, for me the story just wasn't as compelling as I hoped it would be.

As mentioned, the gameplay was pretty solid and I enjoyed the added feature of being able to grab and climb. The only thing I am a bit iffy about is the jetpack/zoom control. Other than that, everything else is pretty fluid and fun. The graphics and level designs showcased what the Xbox One at the time was capable of, and it is a pretty good looking game to say at the least. The sound design was also well crafted, alongside the soundtrack composed by Kazuma Jinnouchi, who did a spectacular job. Light is Green is one of my favourite tracks. Multiplayer was a lot of fun, not my personal favourite Halo multiplayer, but still pretty great and fun. The acting/Mo-Cap was also very good.

That just leaves the story itself. I can see what direction they were trying to take, but it just didn't stick the landing like the advertisements made it out to be. Remember the marketing for this game? Hot damn it was an incredible spectacle to watch time and time again.

I didn't mind playing two different characters. Like in Halo 2 when you play as the Arbiter, it gives a different perspective. For Halo 5, playing as both Locke and Master Chief wasn't a bad idea and I enjoyed it; though I wish it had more play time with the Chief. As for the group dynamics for both Blue team and Fireteam Osiris, thought it was pretty good. The story overall could of had a lot more going for it, and at least having a bit more of a conflict between Master Chief and Locke would have been more compelling. I didn't mind Cortana being the antagonist and I thought it was an interesting direction for her character.

Overall, Halo 5 wasn't a terrible experience but it sadly wasn't the Halo experience myself, and many other players were expecting. I can appreciate that there is a lot of good in this game in terms of gameplay and graphics for instance, but the story really could have been a lot more.

I have been patiently waiting to ... swing back into Insomniac's excellent web slinging Marvel's Spider-Man - but this time on the PS5. Finally.

Dagon was a short experience, but a spectacular interactive novel game that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was free on stream, so I decided to check it out; and I'm glad I did. Eerie atmosphere that perfectly captured the tone of the story, and a great way for someone like me to read more.

Cool, interesting concept with so much more potential, but ultimately doesn't quite reach it. Despite this though, the story itself is still interesting, and the jump scares did get me a few times.

I wasn't a huge fan of the gameplay, and sometimes the controls didn't respond properly. Though, at least they tried to shake it up a bit with the breathing mechanic.

Played maybe 2 or 3 races just because it was free on Xbox Gold. It's alright, the physics felt a bit different to other motorbike games I've played before.

I really enjoyed my time with this game. I found the live stream comments genuinely funny, I liked the commentary while ghost hunting and I liked the choices. Short experience, but worth playing through a few times!

A cute little simple wholesome game; though there's a bit more to it as well which was fun to explore.

Solid game with a decent story imo.

Claw is one of the best side scrolling platformers I've ever played, and I can't believe that this game kind of flew under the radar! I played this a lot when I was younger, and even now when I get time i'll jump back in.

You play as Captain Nathaniel J Claw, A CAT PIRATE! What more could you want? Among the 1997 cinematic cut scenes and fantastic soundtrack that gives you the feel that you're on a timer, Claw delivers a fun pirate adventure. With great level design of different locations, powers to use and enemies you fight off, it is also full of puns which is always welcome.
The story, voice acting and overall atmosphere of the game is one to be experienced. From memory it's between 6-8 hours depending on how you play. Do your self a favour and if you can find yourself a copy or an emulated version, check it out.
MAGIC CLAW!

Neat short 5-6 hr experience. Genuinley a relaxing game when you're not sure what to play next or just want something that doesn't require too much. I'd recommend if you have Xbox Game Pass.

It definitely had the foundation and groundwork, but I feel the characters weren't quite as developed and the twist just... needed a bit more to it. I almost feel like things were cut in order to make it a shorter playtime, which is a bit of a shame. In saying that though, I thought it was still decent and I do appreciate the fact Don't Nod decided to try something a bit different.

Just wish it had a bit more time in the oven and had a bit of a longer playtime. I finished it in one sitting - which is not a bad thing - but with a story like this, it could have used just a bit more time in the oven.

A second playthrough is a must*

I played Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures on PlayStation 2 originally, until the game was on Xbox GWG, so I thought it would be fun to jump back into this game. From memory the first time I played it on PS2 was 2008-ish?

This game was just fun and one of those games for me where it's just there almost as a 'Relaxation' game. I don't normally play a heap of Lego games as it is, but I'm glad I played it again.

Snakes. Why did it have to be Snakes

Gets jumped scared once....Well that's one way to get the heart racing bloody hell!

Welcome to the Game is a puzzle game where you navigate the deep web using an anonymous browser to search websites you couldn't find with a regular search. So, you can probably imagine what kind of disturbing things pop up when you click each link. Your goal is to find a code to find and access the disturbing red room.

Going into this game I kind of knew what to expect (but waaay more disturbing than I thought). It was on sale on steam a few weeks ago for $2.70 or something like that? So I figured eh, why not! What's the worst that could happen?

That first jump scare alone got me good. If only I was recording myself with a mic and camera, that legit would have been hilarious to post.

The entire time I was playing it was of course already intense, but the slow build up of anticipation of being snuck up on - and I cannot stress this enough - was so damn creepy I wanted to stop playing. I pushed though, and usually I'm good with horror games, but this game was just another level of being freaked out. With most games I play I like to play through the entire campaign, even if I'm not enjoying it as much. However, in this rare instance ... I think... I've seen enough. I've experienced it, I can add it to my list but yeah.. not sure if I will come back to it right away.

Considering I haven't completed the entire game, for now I am just going to give my impression rating based on 89 minutes of play time (though i'm sure it counts when you pause the game because I did that a bit lol)

I had actually gotten Homefront: The Revolution for free, and I didn't have any expectations with it.

This game for me is in the 'I didn't hate it but I didn't love it' category. I still thought it was an alright game with a fairly ok story to get through. It was still decent enough to play, and I thought there were a few ideas here and there that could of been expanded on. I also ended up playing Time Splitters II for a bit which is cool because I had never had the chance to play it. Cool little playable Easter egg.

Overall for me personally it'll likely remain in that category of just 'Yeah, it was alright. Didn't hate it, didn't love it but still played it start to finish'
