This game is about half an hour long, cost me very little, has a pretty nice artstyle, but its approach to tackling telling a story in that super short runtime confuses me. This game is a very short story about stress, essentially. Because it spends more time having you do weird, meaningless tasks than learning anything about the two characters, none of what happens instilled any feelings in me. Since we get no info on the character, I could not relate on even the most basic of levels. I score the game so low because the story wants to tackle something psychological, wants to be an allegory for the bad effect of overstessing or anxiety, and somehow manages to make me walk away feeling nothing. I couldn’t even muster up disappointment because it was too short and so little of note happens that it was essentially a waste of time. It tries to bank on the relatability of anxiety as a whole, I assume, but with no context and rather basic imagery nothing resonated. The best I can say for it is that it is priced reasonably and at least doesn’t take up much time to finish and then move on from.
