Heartbreaking, it should seem like a cop-out to call this the best episode of Before the Storm, but come on. Digging up the past while dreading the future, anticipating the future before it suddenly becomes the present, and coming to the realization that the past seems more like a fantasy world than the future despite being the one that we've actually lived through - even without the rewind feature there's still such a poignant emphasis on the certitude of time here, in that sense feels like a fitting (albeit too brief) cap on these characters (for now). A nice change of pace that I'm glad to see included into the base game's darker package.
