Hard to rate since I barely played but the game feels a bit klunky and not fun at all

5 boards is too few especially when on of them is Peach's Cake. Very fun but can get old fast. A nice return to form but the Mario Party should focus on creating new boards/games/concepts focusing on this style of Mario Party since they have the best formula set up here.

I hate that this game requires the joycons to be held horizontally. Limits how many people can play. I had to borrow a friend's joycons to play. Only 5 boards and none of them stand out. There are only the first 2 boards that I enjoy. You start out with 3 out of the 5 boards anyway. The boards are either unbalanced or very plain. The minigames are quite fun and I enjoy playing them but the small controllers hinder the gameplay. There should be a bigger character selection. Big problem with characters and their dice rolls but I'll ignore that for now. Just a mediocre game that isn't worth the $60 dollar price tag. Should be like $20 dollars.

An amazing platformer with creative level design. It has its roots in 2D level design but takes advantage of the 3rd plane. Bowser's Fury is a really nice side mode. It works really well. Many of my problems with the game lie with Bowser's Fury such as the terrible framerate that chugs during every Bowser fight and that the Bowser fight itself is very repetitive.
